Live-Action Superhero Movies in Order of Best to Worst

1. Iron Man: The best superhero movie! It's nearly flawless and has a lot of good humor and special effects.

2. The Dark Knight: Way better than Batman Begins, and the best batman film to date. Heath ledger's Joker is the best comic book film villain and Two-Face was done well. My only big problem was with the love interest.

3 & 4. Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: These two movies are so equally good that I put them together. The first one has a more entertaining story, but the second one has a better villain (Alfred Molina's Doc Ock) and mor eitneresting storyline. I can't decide which I like more

5. Batman: for me this is the best Batman film until the Dark Knight. Tim Burton does a very ienteresting take on the Dark Knight. I also think that Jack Nicholson's Joker is one the best comic book film villains of all time (and the music in this film is pretty good too)!

6. The Incredible Hulk: Desptie some poor special effects, this is one of the best superhero films and has a ton of references to other Marvel characters. A real treat for any Marvelf fan!

7. X2: X-Men United: Despite having no new superhuman menaces (something I like), this is a very good film. however, there is a little too much characters.

8. X3: The Last Stand: Around as good as the second one, I just rank this film lower because there is way too much characters, and it really needed to be longer.

9. Batman Returns: It's a little too weird and Burtonish for Batman, but I actually find myself liking this film. The acting is good and the story is interesting enough.

10. X-Men: This is a very good movie, but is a little too underdone.

11. Batman Forever: Yes, Tommy Lee jones' perofrmance of Two-Face was way off the mark, but the film itself actually does very well with the other characters. Jim Carrey as the Riddler is awesome!

12. Batman Begins: People talk about how intelligent this film is, but all I see is a typical summer blockbuster with a bunch of profound lines inserted to make it look good. The actors are actually excellent, but the villains are way too underdone to make a good impression and are in the end wasted. However, I've warmed up to this movie over the years

13. Spider-Man 3: This is one of the my favorite films of 2007, but I have to admit that there was way too much going on. I think that Venom should have been saved for another movie, since it was his inclusion that made the film seem rushed at the end. THere was also too much sappy sub-plots which nearly turned the film into a romance at some points. On the plus side the CGI is fantastic and the Sandman is awesome.

14. Superman Returns: The ending is way too long, but the movie easily pleases me more than the Christopher Reeves ones.

15. Hulk: This one was a little too weird, which is a shame, because if a better job was done, this could have easily been higher on the list. It's not exactly a fun movie, but it's one of the most intelligent superhero films to be released!

16. Superman: This is a loveable movie, but Lex Luthor wasn't prominent enough and some of the moments were just too ridiculous.

17. Superman II: This one has better action than the first, but the story is even more ridiculous (I also am annoyed at the near-absence of Lex Luthor)!

18. Daredevil: It was a bad idea to condense the entire Elektra saga into a 100-minute film. Very ridiculous and mediocre.

19. Batman and Robin: Like msot people, I find this to be the worst Batman film of all time, although I actually sort of liked Mr. Freeze.

20. The Phantom: This is the worst I've seen so far. There is nothing original with the story and every cliche possible is used.

Godzilla

Favorite Monsters: MechaGodzilla, King Ghidorah, Godzilla, Megagurius, Baragon, and Gigan

Favorite Films: Godzilla vs. Megagurius, Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla, Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. Megalon (it's so bad that it's funny), and various Godzilla films from the Millenium and New Generation series

Miscellaneous

Other Favorite Movies: Empire Strikes Back, Pirates of the Carribean, Mummy, Gettysburg, Star Wars:New Hope, Blues Brothers

Favorite Composers: John Williams, James Newton Howard, Jerry Goldsmith, Michael Giachinno, John Powell
