(Actual blurb: A story I wanted to write. Originally a retelling, it's evolved beyond my control. Featuring massive amounts of headcanons, paci Chara, female mains, Spookman, no fanservice YET and don't plan on it EVER, and lots of external thematics, some of which will be done later.)
Fortune, also known as Frisk. A peculiar one, that girl. By all means, she should not be here. By all means, she should not be alive. Much less a brilliant young girl of twelve years old, already eligible to go to high school. Maybe she really is fortunate. Maybe the winds of fate really do blow her way. Or maybe whatever powers may be take pity on her. Or maybe her determination is so powerful, it leaks into the world around her.

But as little as she realizes it, this is not the first time she has been in the underground. She is trying to perform the impossible, to save the one who resigned himself to a cruel fate. Maybe, with a ghost from the past, she can perform the impossible act.
