sorry ive updated this so many times im trying to find something i like

My name is Kat, I'm in high school. I live in California.

Some things I like: traveling, writing (duh), reading, Daria, plants, and dogs

I'm writing a Mulan fanfic right now. You may ask, why Mulan of all things?

When I was a little girl, I had VHS tapes of every. Single. Disney movie. My whole childhood revolved around how much I loved the princesses and the songs and the adventure. Mulan was especially my role model. I found it so awesome how she saved the love interest, when usually the man does. I've always loved the songs from the movie. I thought that the art was amazing. But mostly, I related to her. I've always been different and insecure and probably always will be. But as a little kid, it was nice finding someone to relate to, even if she was animated.

Before making my account, I watched the movie for the first time since I was eight. I'd completely forgotten how much I loved it and still do. It brought back waves and waves of nostalgia. Watching it, I suddenly remembered all of the afternoons I'd spent just watching it, and singing the songs, and acting out the fight scenes with my older brother and dog. I was already thinking of practicing my writing at the time, I just didn't know how I should do it. Then, after watching it, I realized, 'Why not write about this movie?'

So I did and here we are I guess!
