Author has written 12 stories for Doctor Who, and Harry Potter. I have not abandoned this story; I will update after Halloween. I am busy, but FanFiction is always on my mind. I have created a FaceBook page that will be about Harry Potter, Doctor Who , and current events. Lady K.I.L. Zenith FaceBook has it as Lady KIL Zenith, in case the link does not work. If it is your cup of tea, please like it. 'TransWitch' fans, I have created a group called 'TransWitches and TransWizrards', /community/TransWitches-and-TransWizards/121302/ Take a look at it and if you can't find your favorite transgender story then message me so I can make the correction to the community. Have a happy Halloween. So, the person who wished me harm for how "TransWitch" is turning out almost got his or her wish. No bodily harm was done to me, but my computer needs a new battery, maybe a new hard drive, and or a new memory. That is why there has been no new one shots or any updates to the multi-chap stories. I hope to update as soon as possible but I'm currently looking for a job so I don't know how often I will be updating. On a brighter note, please check out my new community: TransWitches and TransWizards. These are stories about witches and wizards wishing to be the opposite gender in the magical setting. If any of your beloved stories are not found, please send links by private message and I will try to rectify matters. Always write about something you do not understand or about your fears. You will always come up with new material and be less cliched. ~Lady K.I.L. Zenith I am not a transgender individual so I'll be taking some time to do research about transgenders so I can give this story the justice it deserves. I am also new to writing fanfiction so this is a second ongoing story for me. I hope I can write two stories at the same time. I like One Shots but I do not think "TransWitch" could be explained in a One Shot and I do not want the story to end abruptly. So it might mean that it'll take some time before it winds down but I hope it does not get as long by exceeding one hundred chapters. I hope this story will be of Harry going through her Hogwarts years transitioning into a girl and facing threats of those who are against transgender individuals as well as having to stand up to Voldemort. I noticed how few transgender Harry Potter stories there are. I hope I can in some way to rectify matters and somehow inspire others to write their own impression of Harry wanting to be a girl. Gender bending stories are good but I want some stories that has Harry Potter wanting to be a girl instead of just being content in knowing he can't change back to his male gender. If he can't change back into a boy by magic, then he could always get a surgery or use of steroids to turn himself back into one; this causes problems of trying to make those gender bending stories credible. ~Lady Zenith The story, "TransWitch", was never meant to be comical. It targets a mature audience as well as being categorized under Angst/Hurt/Comfort. I'm writing "TransWitch" to educate my readers and myself about the plights of transgender individuals. When #TransHealthFail is circulating on the internet to show people that health providers are failing their patients, then any medium that informs people that transgender people are human too is worth noting. The Gender Recognition Act 2004 came into effect in April 4, 2005, allowing transgender individual to change their legal name and gender. This Act made Corbett vs. Corbett, a case where a man had his marriage annulled because his wife was legally a male, null and void. I am trying to make my timeline be as consistent with the Harry Potter series which means that this chapter is set sometime between 1988 and 1989. So, in my opinion, this chapter is relevant to show what the transgender individual has to fight for. I show Harry in a moment in weakness to try to make her relatable and to help her become stronger. I don't want this Harry to turn out as a Mary Sue. If you care to remember, Dumbledore placed Harry on a doorstep while he was fifteen months old in the books. Dumbledore is allowed to make mistakes; the whole Wizarding World sees Harry as the Boy-Who-Lived which makes acceptance of her transitioning even more difficult. I know having the Boy-Who-Lived become the Girl-Who-Lived will be a major coup to to the transgender population, but all Dumbledore and Remus cares about is Harry's survival. Also in the books, Remus was hesitant about dating Tonks; he did not want to accidentally endanger her life and pass his curse to some innocent child. Google Transgender Suicides and Transgender Suicides in the UK. You'll find that suicide attempts and suicides have been on the rise this year. In Leelah Alcorn's obituary, her parents still refuse to recognize her true gender. I write my story in hopes that young transgender individuals will identify with Harry but to realize that it is a waste to kill themselves because there are so many things worth living for, like friends and families who accept you as you are as well as the things that brings you joy. I hope I was able to get my message across. Also, if truth be known, it made me miserable while I was writing it. ~Lady K.I.L. Zenith I would like to give credit to those I had used their images as my covers. ~Lady Zenith "TransWitch" cover came from the website called zerochan. The person who submitted this picture to that website is Nathaniel Len. "A Forsaken Destiny" cover came from Deviant Art by emily-corene. "Her Reflection" cover came from a still of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. "The Kiss" cover came from Harry Potter wiki. "Human Sacrifice" cover came from Google images but I can't find it now. Look for a burning pentagram in Google. |
