So, I guess that I should write a little something about myself here, but I don't really know what. There isn't all that much to say really.

But let's try it anyways. I'm a girl who quite likes the fantasy genre. I don't get to do a lot of real reading anymore, because I'm working on my PhD, which takes quite a lot of time. My native language is Dutch, and my second one German, so, please forgive me when I mess up, and feel free to correct me. I'm always willing to learn some more. My main interests, aside from writing and reading (fan)fiction set in fantasy settings are history, baking cakes, biochemistry (obviously) and art.

My interest in things tends to vary a bit, so when I'm writing a story, things will tend to come in bursts. Sometimes I can write several chapters in only a day, and at other times I'm hard pressed to write even two lines. And that doesn't only depend on how busy work is.

In the stories that I read I like seeing relatively small things changing everything, and of course, women paired with women, which is far too rare in mainstream stories.

Incidentally: I'm rather crappy at anything photoshop and the like, let alone drawing, so if anyone would volunteer to help me out with cover images, I promise ten thousand cookies.
