Welcome to my profile! I'm terrible at introductions- could you tell?

I'm a college student working towards a major in linguistics, and as such I love analyzing how languages are created, learned, and changed. Being someone who enjoys literature probably stems from that passion.

My username comes from one of my favorite poems: "The Eagle" by Lord Tennyson. (The fact that it sounds like a name for a Jaeger makes it even better.)

I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my writing, so I'm terribly sorry if I write something that you enjoy and then take forever to update. I haven't forgotten it (really!), it's just that I've hit a snag somewhere and am thumping my brain around to flush out more plot bunnies.

As far as critiques go, I'm always happy to receive constructive criticism- keyword there being constructive. Please, please don't lambaste something senselessly. If it's really that upsetting to you then it may be upsetting to other people too, and it would be helpful to know why. Or if you just don't think it's very good, then give me tips on how to improve. Nobody likes a troll who just says "this sucks as$" with no explanation.
