Author has written 4 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, High School DxD/ハイスクールD×D, Overwatch, and Black Lagoon. "I guess people want to read about the things they want most, but experience the least" I'm E82 and I make things difficult. Basically. I'm not native to English. Most of the stuff I write has two enemies falling in love one way or another. Also, chances are, some of my characters experience some form of traumatic event in my stories. I do like the broken. I like the misunderstood. I like the mistreated and the abused. You will find characters like that in my stories. To find out what I mean, I guess you'll have to read my shit. Before I give you a quick tour, another thing: Because I did get a lot of questions regarding this, I let myself be convinced to accept donations. If you want to support me and the stories I write, you're very welcome do do so here: tipeee . com / e82s-fanfiction (thank you ffn for re-routing clickable links to this page...) I chose tipeee because you don't have to contribute monthly. You can just tip once if you want and be done with it. I want to stress one thing tho: I will never, ever ask anyone to tip. I'm writing for fun and it's my greatest pleasure to share what I write. Never think I expect anyone to donate. Do it if you like, and I am very thankful and happy if you do, of course, but I don't want anyone to feel like they have to. I'd, of course, greatly appreciate your support! anyway, onward to the tour I promised: The Highschool DxD story "The Devil and her Assassin" was something which just kind of happened. An accident if you want. I really enjoyed the show (yes, I'm a perv, deal with it), but personally I thought Issei was barely more than an annoying wuss. Personally I think the show would have been a lot better with a serious, strong main character, someone with experience and his own dark problems he has to deal with. So I went and wrote such a story, while I still tried to keep the light hearted atmosphere of the original in mind. You know, just with a tiny bit more seriousness. "The forbidden Princess" was my first fanfiction I ever published. Obviously set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe it plays with the idea of what would have happened if Azula and Aang were to fall in love with each other. I mentioned this before, but the idea of letting enemies fall in love is very appealing to me for some reason. In "The forbidden Princess" I relied heavily on the complexity of Azula's character in order to make the eventual main focus of the story - Azulaang - possible. It's a story of heavy mutual trust and overcoming the struggles of the past and present, which was very important for me to show. My only Black Lagoon story "Blinded" is about Revy and Shenhua. Revy gets injured during Roberta's Bloodtrail and loses her eyesight. She is rescued by Shenhua, who takes care of her. This story is only one chapter long so far, but I do want to continue it some day. It plays with the idea of how a strong willed, yet emotionally broken Revy would react to being absolutely dependent on someone else. I chose Shenhua over Rock because I think that Rock is, I don't want to say boring, but too smooth at times. Shenhua has edges and rough spots. Also, I love some good Yuri. Yeah, that's the most important reason... Finally, my most popular story so far is "Addictions" set in the Overwatch universe. It tells the tale of Widowmaker (Amélie Lacroix) and her rival Tracer (Lena Oxton). Despite being enemies Tracer and Widowmaker fall in love with each other. You see a pattern here? Yeah, it's yet again a story of two enemies falling in love. I wrote this story for many reasons, but the dynamics of Widow and Tracer during Blizzard's animated short "Alive" were probably the most important ones. Widowmaker's backstory, being abducted and brainwashed by a terror organization was also something I wanted to play with. I tried giving Widowmaker a lot of depth and many layers of personality, displaying the various aspects of her persona, the remnants of her old self, the lack of emotions imposed on her by her captors and of course her new found self after she met Tracer. A major point in this story is yet again mutual trust, but also how powerful true love can really be. It was important for me that Tracer is displayed as a woman with a lot of possibilities who chooses to stay with Widowmaker instead of going the easy way. Her motivation for doing so was something I spent a lot of thinking on. In contrast Widowmaker was designed to be rather dependent on Tracer. For me it was important to stress how and why Widowmaker allowed herself to be dependent on Tracer in the first place, stressing how her inner universe shifts when she is around Tracer. "Addictions" has a rather complicated plot which is supporting the story, at least that was my plan. It is by far my most well recieved story on top of being the most complex project I started. If there is anything I can help you with, no false shyness! My door (inbox) is always open and I will try to help you to the best of my abilities. Just know that I'm really busy most of the time, so I most likely can't read thoroughly through your work, I will however provide some tips when I can. o7 E82 Oh yeah one more thing: There is something like an easter-egg hunt in all of my stories. Hidden characters or hints to other series. Stuff like that. Happy hunting, feel free to point out what you found either via PM or in a review! |
