Author has written 6 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hey there! ;) I reckon you’re reading my bio because you’ve read a story of mine. Or it could be for any other reason, but if you’re reading this I must introduce myself. I’m Mel. I’m 16 years old and I live in India. I like to watch and read new stuff, especially if it’s in English. My mother tongue isn’t English, but I adore and respect the language very much. Hence, I think that writing fan-fiction is the best kind of warm-up that you need if you wish to be fluent with a language. Plus, I also enjoy playing with pre-defined, globally loved characters; writing their untold moments gives me great pleasure. Therefore I became a fan-fiction-writer. Oh, and if you wanna talk or anything about any topic under the sun, PMs are welcomed. PS: Readers, followers, favoriters, reviewers - I love you all. First things first: Thanks for reading and reviewing so wholeheartedly. I do agree that lush may not be the most appropriate word in Ed's Mind for Riza. But it's the only word that I could think of which fits the sentence well enough. Though I'll surely keep your point in mind. About the second cent... I think Riza wouldn't hesitate to answer the question because, a)This story happens before Riza knows Selim is a homunculus. So she doesn't know there's someone who could be keeping an eye on her at all times. And also, Selim's identity is still secret so he wouldn't keep an eye on a hostage. She's safe to express herself downright bluntly here. b)She knows Edward well enough to be sure that he won't have the nerve to tell anyone about their conversation. If at all he does tell someone, it will be Al or Winry. And telling Winry is highly unlikely since she is in Rush Valley, and Ed has enough brains to not talk about such things on phone or in letters. If at all he told Al (or even Winry for that matter), he would be asked 'why in the world did Edward have the need to ask Riza such a question'. Edward wouldn't be able to answer that because it would mean spilling the beans that concern the Love-Winry matter. The only other person Ed could think of telling is Roy himself. But Riza even removes that possibility by saying, "We don't need to say anything to each other, we've shared so much together that we already know. It's just like you and Al, maybe a bit complex, but almost the same." So there, I guess. I hope I made sense to you. Thanks again Lin. Can I call you Ling? -MissSniper I don't really understand the logic behind putting up quotes on this page ... But I'll let logic do heck with itself. ;) Here are some lines that I like: "I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I'm out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." - Marilyn Monroe, a Gemini "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do." - Walter Bagehot "There's no such thing as a painless lesson; they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah, a heart made fullmetal." - Edward Elric (Fulllmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) Enjoy the little things in life ... for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things. "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times - if only one remembers to turn on the lights." "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." - Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter) "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." - Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter) "I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me." - Harry Potter "If you want to know what a man is like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors not his equals." - Sirius Black (Harry Potter) "Life sucks, then you die. Yeah, I should be so lucky." - Jacob Black (The Twilight Saga) That’s it. Thanks for reading my less than interesting bio. - - |
