I'm so glad you effectively addressed the stupidity of Riza keeping the communications a secret. The whole "Riza is so stubborn and in denial that she takes everything on her shoulders and everyone has to deal with her internalizing it and being mean in order to protect her pride." It's overused and becomes a defining aspect of her character which, imo, OOC for her based on what the series and manga show. It made complete sense for her to do that at first, but your use of the mystery villain chastising her for her secrecy was perfectly used. He threw her training against herhe (horrifically) reminded her of her own training. Riza didn't try and keep it down further and you also introduced a realistic plot point that would make her see that she puts people in danger by not sharing. It's chilling that this stalker was the one to remind her, but she immediately understood and came clean to her team. I appreciate that you allowed her real character to come throughshe got the point and understands the reality of the situation. Lesser writers would have made that entire reveal to Roy yet ANOTHER scene of Riza being stubborn in order to "protect" the others. Yet you truly acknowledge Riza's ability to learn on her feet and take action.

I get tired of ff writers twisting what it means to be a strong woman and making Riza cowardly and withholding due to her denial. It goes against the loyalty and honesty witnessed in actual canon. Riza is forthcoming and loyal. She wouldn't be a petulant child who needs a man to gently pull down her walls. She pulls them down herself and learns from situations.

I actually got chills when she revealed who signed it. I'm so mad that he injured the team! Psycho villain is fantastic because I already fear and loathe him.

The first scene of him spying on her was creepy as all hell. His musings made my skin crawlhe speaks so intimately and possessively about her. Ugh, I'm kinda nervous to see what he pulls next.

I found my new favorite quote! “Congratulations, Boss. You’ve got yourself a sex tape, every serious politician needs one.”

Fantastic story! Loved the way you wrote the characters, the relationship, and set up our villian in a clear and well rounded way. Kept me on the edge of my seat!

What. a. ride. the suspense was intensely reeling, the stakes so high, the action and romance rewarding. This is a fic where I felt Riza's character was really brought to life to being rattled to her near vengenance exacting, emotions developed as in tune with her mannerisms, ugh so good the way you portrayed her reactions as well as Mustang's support in their duty and in their personal life. the psychological stress and threat the antagonist posed was also nicely executed and more than believable. everything was done so tastefully and i enjoyed this fic immensely! Impeccable job with just about everything, I aspire to write as thoroughly, suspenseful, and balanced as you have with this story.

This was so good! Suspense is one of my fave genres and you definitely kept the suspense high throughout the whole thing. And all that Royai bit, loved it3

Wow, that was an amazing story! I was hooked until the end and not disappointed by the end! It was also interesting to see Riza's character and for her to lose her calm mind and posture was very interesting.
