Author has written 17 stories for NCIS. Where does the time go...? It seems like a lifetime ago that I started writing. ... and I suppose it is, actually. I've been going back and re-reading some of these - disk crashes have left me with most of them still, but a few bits here and there are lost save for what's here. Some I read now and want to re-edit or even rewrite to some degree; some amaze me still that I was able to create them. All probably need some updating to correct punctuation that seems to have vanished along the way. But what strikes me most are the reviews - I am humbled and honored by the kind words you have given me over the years. And amazed that people are still finding my stories - still reviewing and still favoriting. Thank you - all of you - it is a genuine pleasure for me to be able to share with you the what the voices in my head are saying. I check in every now and then, but I don't write much any more - just not enough time in the day. I have a couple things I'm toying with, sort of half a story here and there. Maybe eventually they'll make it here. And maybe I'll get all the stuff that's here cleaned up, too... we shall see. Everything from below this point is unchanged - also likely outdated but, credit where credit is due. These ladies helped make my stories what they are. I sure as hell miss the time we used to spend together. Even if it was all in a virtual world... I wrote my first two pieces here on my own. It was my second that linked me up with my current writing partner, middleagecrazy. Go read her work. So, sacrifices to the muse that made me lock someone in a burning building, because this has been the best thing that has happened to me and my writing. Thank you Mac, chick! You rock! And a call out to Karie, who I also hooked up with because of my writing. A talented writer in her own right, she and I work back and forth on our writing. Thanks for being such a good friend, Babe. She also designed the icon gracing my bio page, that is, provided it shows up. For some reason, I can't see it, but if you can, credit goes to her for her fantastic work. For those of you reading No Restraint, thank you for your reviews. I know the story remains incomplete - I've re-read it recently, at least what I have of it. There may be an ending there yet... I want to thank all of you who read my work, and especially those of you who review. It makes my day to know that there are those of you out there who enjoy reading what I have so much fun creating. I hope you continue to read, and if it inspires you to review, you have my humble thanks for both. If you wish to e-mail me, you may send it to mstiller12@ . I promise to reply promptly and answer any questions as best as I can. Elton John... "It's for people like you that keep it turned on..." |
