Perhaps a little silly, but since the prompt includes Mrs. Patmore and Mrs. Hughes giggling over glasses of port, some silliness is presumably allowable.

As music plays and wine flows at the post-Christmas dance for staff, Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes do something so unexpected it gets the whole house talking.

Brienne thought misery was supposed to end after high school. And perhaps it would have...if she hadn't ended up going to the same university as Jaime Goddamn Lannister. A Jaime/Brienne modern day college AU.

If he were going to allow himself such sentimentality — and how could he not, with her? — he was damn well going to be very, very good at it.
