My first story entry was on that very date [according to this lovely site, of course]. I was very much caught up with an anime called Ultra Maniac because my 15 year old self back then wasn't able to accept the fact that Nina Sakura was ending up with Tsujiai and the best way to satisfy my self was to do an alternate ending. I wasn't even expecting readers back then. All I wanted was to be saved from the disappointment the ending had given me. Alas, I had 28 reviews and it was more than enough. March 1, 2005. I was 16 back then and I was unaware that my first breakthrough was with my third story. I was in High School and I spent most of my time plotting in between important lessons. I still managed to graduate so needless to worry. Again, yes, I called it a breakthrough because I was having so much reviews- more than I ever had. It was then that I realized that I had some sort of talent. I believed my stories were worth someone's time. There was even someone from Friendster whom I just randomly met. When we talked about fictions, I brought up this story of mine, namely My Boss' Daughter, and she was surprised that I was the Author. In return, I was upset with her because she did not drop me any reviews. I wanted the number, of course. It's okay now. I have moved on. Haha! Nov. 16, 2007. This date spells my last update with my second 'great' fiction under Card Captor Sakura section, namely Solemn Wishes. It did not have as many reviews [falls back by two] as the one I have mentioned earlier but this one had more depth and if you decipher the chapters one by one, you could see that I was being patient with writing each and one of them. After this was the beginning of my phase where I indulged my self in Three Shots, Two Shots, and One Shots. As time passed by, I was only in it for the happy ending. I guess I had my own issues to deal with back then and I was saving my self through writing. Well, don't we all? And even with the Three Shots, I did not even manage to finish them, yet I did not delete them with hopes of someday I'd get off my lazy ass and put a proper not-very-rushed ending. In the end? Nada. Jan. 21, 2011. I reread my latest One Shot and I can say I was proud of my latest work even if there were some grammatical errors [or not exactly errors but they written bizarrely]. I had successfully placed some sort of depth in a situation that revolved childish characters and their habit of drinking. I was 22 when I wrote it [and still am]. And looking at the time- it's exactly 4:40 AM during the sixteenth of June, 2011. |
