Author has written 3 stories for Mutant X. hi! *smiles* guess i must be that interesting u guys r checking this out..*frowns* or is there really nothing better to do tonight? shrugs*reality is over-rated anyway. in my alternate universe life, i enjoy terry pratchet's discworld n robert jordan's WOT, collecting 'banned' dvds (well, they r where i'm from), am seriously overworked n underpaid n am currently going back to school after a certain hiatus *sheepish grin* and unfortunate (or fortunately...depends on which side of the fence), will be in school for the next *gasp* five years at least...in short, it's not much of a life. boring. in my real life, i am a self-professed sadistic junkie...but only in my stories...i'm really quite nice in person *grins* serious! anyway...i like to read (that explains e glasses) n i have a very weird/dry sense of humour. i like characters/stories with a lot of angst n e usual tough-guy-exterior-but-a-softie-inside complex *sighs happily*. they r so good to torment! *evil laughter*. my current obsession right now is Supernatural...e story line rocks! it's absolutely plausible, it's almost like e x-files all over again *shudders frm e goosebumps* n must i mention e easy-on-e-eyes-casts? *wipes drools of keyboard* that's all i gotta say. for e time being...i'm writing on MX only...so tell me what u think of my stories so far, k? do me a favor n drop a review! p.s.erm, E.D.O is currently on hiatus,i have no idea where i want it to go.if u guys want to give me a hint, please do n i'll think abt it,k?ditto goes for Betrayals..though i know how i want it to end but it's just e middle that i have a problem with... i do have a bad habit of reading and then promptly forget to review...so occasionally...you will see not-so-consistent reviews from moi, please don't feel discourage...i do apologise in advance, though. "With all the stock I place in the imagination, a person might think that I think artifice is everything. But that's really not true. I know that fantasy can never substitute for a superior reality. Its just that there's a dearth of superior realities to go around. Seriously, I'm waiting. I've yet to meet a reality that could match the fantasies served up by the stage or silver screen, or summoned up by the desperate mind. I swear, the day that reality lives up to my expectations, I will throw in the fantasy towel. I will try harder to interact with real people and real objects to real environs. Until then, my feeling is, you've got to believe in the power of stories--stories breathed into songs, movies, poems, novels--to keep your ambulatory and away from razor blades and valium and bridges. Until a more compassionate reality interupts your nothing world and your fantasy life feels embarrassingly thin. Only then will you be brave enough, protected enough, to surrender your stories and step into the world without a velvet cloak of the imagination. The cloak you conjured up to keep you warm, luxuriant, and falsely lonely." --My Sister From the Black Lagoon by Laurie Fox |
