Writing is my favorite pass-time, and in the future I hope to make some kind of meager money off it. I use fan-fiction to practice with different styles, to hone my word and editing skills, and, above all. to enjoy myself. I also write original works, but I don't tend to publish those online.

As-of July, I've officially finished my first major fic, Asphyxia. I wrote and published the rough draft of the fic in little more than a month in January 2014, and finished the second draft in six months, from Feburary to July. I'm taking some time away from it right now, but I'm still taking down notes and making some plans for a third revision that will happen eventually. It's been a lot of fun to work on APX, and I'm very proud of it.

Because I've enjoyed APX so much, I've decided to dive into a sequel. The fic, titled Hysteria, will feature the same themes of mental illness and emotional trauma that APX has dealt with, but with a shiny new plot and sparkly supporting characters.

Originally I was going to try to finish the fic in a month as well, like I did with Asphyxia, but life got in the way and I wasn't able to complete it. However, I will continue to trudge along. I've decided to revert back to my original update schedule, twice a week on Sunday and Thursday. That way, I'm able both to work on Hysteria and make it publishable while still being able to work on little things on the side. My first new update will be this coming Thursday, September 11th. As for the second draft schedule, I'll get to that when it rears its ugly head.
