Story Progress

My main focus right now is The Trouble With Men Is. I'm currently rewriting Between Life and Death, and the updates will be out in the next couple of months or so. I also have a new story in the works. I wrote a couple of hundred words already, but it'll probably take a while for me to post it.

Things That Annoy Me to No End On :

When people put in their summaries, "Crappy Summary, I know, but please read." or "Bad Summary... read anyways"

Umm... If you freaking KNOW it's a crappy summary, then CHANGE IT! (How come people don't understand this logic?) If you think it's a horrible summary, most people are going to think it's a horrible summary. And summary IS important to a story, it's what makes people want to click the title. Seriously, put some effort and thoughts into it, instead of just slopping down "BAD SUMMARY!"

When people say "If I don't get so-and-so many reviews, I'm not going to update."

DUDE! Reviews are a PRIVILEGE!! NOT A RIGHT!! I personally think it's okay to ask nicely, inserting "please" or "thankyou" when asking for reviews. But it's just gross to use that as a way to threaten readers to review more.

When people have the nerve to call a story with around 500 words a "Chapter"

Folks, I repeat. A story that has about ten sentences is NOT a chapter. (Unless the author specifically states that it's a drabble story) I really hate it when authors post these mistake-filled, little 10-sentence stories, and expect people to think it's a real chapter. I'm sorry, maybe I just have high standards when it comes to how long a chapter should be, but I do not consider anything less than 1000 words a "Chapter". Because that is just ridiculous. It's even more ridiculous when the authors KNOW it's short, yet they still expect you to review. This again, relates to common sense, if you KNOW the chapter is short, MAKE IT LONGER!! I absolutely will NOT waste my time writing a review for a story that could possibly be even shorter than my review.

When Flamers don't leave their email, or anyway of contacting them.

It's funny. A lot of the flames I've seen are all annonymous. rolls eyes I absolutely despise it when people flame, they either log of their account, or not leave any source of contact information. It's funny when they say, "Your story (creative usage of swear words) sucks! You should go (creative use of swear words which have no relation to the story whatsoever)!! Go die!!" Umm... Okay. If you're going to say that, state WHY. Give a DAMNED REASON!! I don't really mind flames, but give me a freaking reason WHY! And "Because your mom is gay" does NOT count as one.

When Authors use "AIM/MSN" lingo.

Gosh! itz so stupidd wen authors type lik dis bcuz its ugly nd rly hrd 2 rd!!
