I have taken to writing fan fiction as an exercise in courage. If you all like this here I have been wanting to write an actual book. This desire mostly being revisited by running across the comments from my English Comp professor "So when does your book come out?". I haven't been brave enough to come up with a full story line yet but it seems like A New Adventure Began has started to take on a life of its own (who knew one shots could do that). I cant wait to see what comes from this one. Its like your oldest child, you nurture it, you guide it and it always teaches you something in return.

When writing Five Times I Was Done For (another exercise in insanity) it gave me the chance to explore a more darker side that just wouldn't fit in a fluffier family piece like ANAB. My hopes in that was to stretch my chops a little bit and get down to the essence of character exploration. Sort of a fill-in-the-blanks. Funny things happen when you get writers block don't they.

As for Mission Impossible Girl...Things there may be getting a little more descriptive but not too smutty. I think sometimes that is way overdone. I see sex as an expression of love and not a letter to Penthouse Forum. (dont get me wrong I like me some naughty naughty and I even read some naughty naughty on here and there are some fantastic smutty writers on here!) Its just not something I am comfortable with just yet. Not betraying Rose and 10 but 11 and Clara are amazingly hot.

My greatest accomplishments in life are my four daughters and my patients. I love my patients and I encourage you to embrace your elders. They certainly do not get enough hugs and affection. I see it too much at work everyday. Loneliness is a killer guys. Spend some time with our elder generation, they have the best stories and really don't give a damn what you think about being different. Some of us should take more of that with them into their lives
