Back in 2006 I read my first fanfiction, the title was Heir Apparent, a cross-fic between my favourites Weiss Kreuz and Tokyo Babylon. The name of the author was Yuri, the Seventh Demoness and how I admired her for the sheer velocity of her words...

She'd long been retired since then and, although I may be of a different breed from what she was, I took on writing under a similar name as a sign of my continued admiration, respect and thanks for all those epic years past. To Yuri.
