1/16/2019 Wanted to update everyone, I haven't made much progress yet. Been busy adjusting to changes in my assistantship and choosing my thesis advisor (and trying to catch up on reviewing quantum mechanics...been a long times since I took it in undergrad...)

3/24/19 I haven't had time to write even a paragraph on the story in like 2 months. The little bit of downtime I have right now I just don't have it in me to get into the zone writing. Sorry for the delays everyone.

5/11/2019 I finished up finals a few days ago, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things writing the chapter, it's been tough so far trying to get back in the mindset I need to write the chapter. I'll try to get something done soon. I'm sorry it has been so long this entire year has been insane, and I thought the year I was working three jobs was bad lol...anyway hopefully this chapter will be at least up to the old standard.

6/7/2019 So I've been trying to write the chapter for about the last month and so far I'm having a hell of a time trying to get through writer's block. I know pretty much the major events of the chapter but getting it all to connect together isn't happening so far. This is by far the longest bout I can at least remember. I don't know if it's just because I couldn't write anything on it for most of a year or what. One of the ways I usually get around it is working on one of the other stories or coming up with a new one to wet the piston in a way, but I can't even get anything written for anything...I don't get it. So I wanted to update you guys, sorry for the long wait.

A few things about me, I'm a recent college graduate, a dual major in Astronomy and Physics, and minors in Geology and Astrobiology. Still trying to get into grad school. Because of the difficulty of my classes, and now my work schedule since graduation, my time for writing is occasionally limited, but so far I think I've done alright.

My main interest in astronomy is exoplanets, planets around other stars. I've been kind of obsessed with them since about 8th grade. I find the idea of entire other worlds being out there, with potentially life on them incredibly interesting. I think my love for other worlds is also one of my motivators in writing, in astronomy you can find other worlds that have already been made, but by writing you can create your own worlds.

I have a wide range of shows, movies and book I am interested in. My big three though are Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, and Game of Thrones. I also enjoy Lord of the Rings, Ender's game, and Larry Niven's expanded universe.

In addition to my one-shot, Dragon Ball Zombies, and Culture Shock, I am also co-authoring a story called Vegeta the Academic with my cousin gamerfreak102. Recently me and my cousin started another co-op story Game of Tails, basically game of thrones with Saiyans, so you know its going to be awesome.

I also have 7-10 other fan fictions that are in their infancies, three of which I started before Culture Shock and have since stalled, I like to build up a 'reserve' of sorts for my stories before I post them, because I finally decided to go with Game of Tails as the next story I have posted, all of the other proto-stories I had been working on have now been stalled again.

Game of Tails and Vegeta the Academic are both on temporary (maybe permanent) hiatus, right now I barely have time to keep updates going on Culture shock.
