Look, I'll read about laundromats, demons summoned by sandwiches and universe hopping Clint Barton's all the live long, but everyone's got their line in the sand and I'm drawing mine at the overbearing, intrusive and self-important friend that seems to pop up in a lot of stories. It's a small, painfully normal thing to get frustrated by, but it's a long worn out trope that's often used as a plot device.
I can't read anymore fics where a character threatens to reveal the protagonist's feelings to the person they're sweet on if they don't nut up. No amount of bad-assedness, self-confidence or snarky quips will make me like a character that gets pissy and guilts someone else for not telling them something.

That's it, that's my pet-peeve. The thing that will more often than not, make me stop reading. The thing that annoyed me so much I felt the need to slap it on my profile, right at the very top.

August 2017: It's happened. I got tumblr and through like, osmosis or some sh*t, I started shipping Sterek. So I've started watching Teen Wolf and it's cheesy and awful and good in equal measure but I don't even care. The fanworks are crazy amazing.

New years resolution was to finish VWaM, and I'm getting there but I also resolved to put on more muscle and got tired giving a car a push start the other day, so no one get their hopes up.

I'm mostly lurking over on AO3 these days. When I manage to update my fics, I'll still do it here, but I'll do it there as well.

I'm a twenty-something, trying to be one of the decent sort.

Crossovers are awesome. If you're going to do fanfiction, be crazy with it.
