What to put on a profile? Here you go...

I am a great fan of BBC Sherlock - quite a mature one, which doesn't make me less obsessed.

My fanfiction name is not very creative and quite obvious, but after reading loads of stories and never finding them again, I decided that it was time to choose a name - in bed at nearly midnight, not the most creative time of the day (at least not for pennames). Maybe one day I'll change it.

Sherlock is the only reason why I'm here. I once started as merely a reader to improve my vocabulary and to make the wait for season 3 bearable; and then I had been encouraged by my dear beta to give writing a try. I had never thought I'd be able to do it, but it turned out that I was (thanks to a wonderful and patient beta, of course) and that I loved it. Well, now I have turned from a reading addict into a writing addict.

I would never write Johnlock, because I don't ship it. The reason for it is simple:the authors and characters don't ship it too. As easy as that. I love the friendship issue between John and Sherlock, though, and I think that's enough of an area to explore.

I generally try to stick to the BBC canon as much as possible, although I find that my current story is a bit diverting. It was supposed to fit in between S2E2 and S2E3, but I'm not all that sure if it still would just like that.

Those of you who might be afraid that Shot in the Dark could turn into Sherlolly, rest assured, it won't. No unusual pairings, none that can't be found in the series. I'm just playing a bit with Sherlock and Molly's friendship. She's the one having a crush on Sherlock and he knows it. Full stop.

English is not my mother-tongue, so I apologize for all the mistakes that may occur in my stories, reviews and profile.
