My name is Marci and I'm 22 years old and am a super senior in college. I have been writing on this website since 2001 under the name Marci for Dragonball Z, and since 2003 under the name EternalOphelia for, of course, Harry Potter. I find it very relaxing to write Harry Potter fan fiction, though sometimes it can be frustrating when I have writer's block--I hate to be slow and keep people waiting (because I am a reader just like the rest of you), but sometimes it can't be helped.

Completed Stories:

Alternate Love- Hermione and Ron are dating, and she and Draco are the Hogwarts' Heads. During one of their meetings with the prefects, they overhear a conversation among some of the professors, which leads to an investigation. Unfortunately for the Heads, they must cooperate in order to make right a terrible wrong they commit while in pursuit of discovering what the teachers are trying to keep hidden.

Illicit Allure- Hermione and Ron are dating and have been since their 6th year, as have Draco and Pansy. On the outside both couples are the envy of the school, and both couples seem a whole lot happier than they let on. Can they stay together despite their crumbling passion?...Draco and Hermione are also forced to spend detention together as a result of a Draco-instigated duel. The purpose of the detention: for the two long-time enemies to get along.

Hermione's Baby- Three unlikely students (Hermione, Ron, and Draco) are found together, unconscious by the lake. When they finally come to they find that nearly 4 months of their memories have been erased due to a backfired spell. But that is by far the least of their worries when they are informed that Hermione is 3 months pregnant, no matter how much she protests that she's a virgin.

Time- The Trio are lying low in the woods, awaiting a Death Eater attack. They correspond as much as they can with the Order of the Phoenix. Draco Malfoy, having fled Hogwarts that spring with Snape, is with Voldemort and the Death Eaters, only he's not so sure he's in the right place anymore. When the Death Eaters finally do attack Hermione, Ron, and Harry a lot more happens than anyone could have anticipated.

Completed One-Shots:

Ties- There is a secret tradition at Hogwarts known as "The Ties", nearly as old as the school itself. Each year the graduating class meets at an agreed upon location, at an agreed upon time. From there, the top girl or boy of that year's class is in charge and he/she alone is responsible for keeping the tradition alive.

I Am Your Enemy- Hermione has had a crush on Draco for some time, the only problem is that they're enemies. One evening, as she's walking through the halls and comes upon the boy-in-question, she suddenly can't contain her emotions any longer.

To Save Her- Draco is a loyal member of the Order of the Phoenix, but has been playing the Dark Side for some time now. He and Hermione have been secretly together for a year, but can they keep it that way?

Caged Heart- After being captured by the Dark Side, Hermione is imprisoned and alone in a cell for many months. Then, one day, the cell beside her is occupied, yet the person within is less than enthusiastic about conversing with her.

The Worst Best Day- The war has been over for 2 years, yet old wounds die hard. Hermione is trying to enjoy a sunny day in London with her friends, when a sudden rain storm sweeps in and with it the pain of Hermione's past.

It's About Time- Hermione and Draco are working on a mandatory assignment together, but someone following them makes it impossible to concentrate. In order to discover who this mystery stalker is, they must work together.

The Words You Wrote-As the war approaches, Hermione spends her last days at home with her parents who she hasn't the heart to tell what's to come, or even that she's leaving. It's nearly impossible for her to sleep more than a few hours at once, so to pass the time she reads. Only she does not read her school books or any other type of book, but a stack of letters kept hidden in a box under her bed. Who are the letters from? Not even Hermione knows.

Guerilla Nuptials- Hermione and Draco got married after the war and had a daughter. But, as time wore on, they got under each other's skin and Hermione filed for divorce, taking their daughter with her. Now, as their daughter's first year of Hogwarts approaches, they are forced to spend a bit more time than usual together.

The Lottery- Hermione signs up to be in a charity event on Valentine's Day. Harry warns her that things might not go as smoothly as she thinks, so thinking he's being a big brother and over-reacting, she continues on as planned. She has to bite her tongue in the end when Harry's fears come to fruition.

The Date-The sequel to "The Lottery". Hermione is bid on by Draco Malfoy and has to go on a date with him. Hermione's only wish is that she somehow makes it through the night in one piece.

Infinite Mess-Ron is killed during the war and Hermione doesn't deal with it as well as she'd hoped. Taking to drinking and sleeping around, her friends are always on her about the person she's turned into. But, being as headstrong as she's always been, Hermione brushes their concerns aside and lives life as she pleases. That is, until her wreckless ways lead her down a road she never intended on traveling.

The Letter-Draco comes to the Light Side and has been working for the Order of the Phoenix for several months, when he receives a life-changing letter that only contains 4 words.

Hope-The prequel to "The Letter". This one-shot shows what takes place up to the point when Draco's letter is written.

Hermione Parkinson- In a desperate attempt to figure out what Draco is up to in their 6th year, Harry asks Hermione to take Polyjuice Potion and become Pansy Parkinson, hoping that Draco confides in his girlfriend. But, as time goes on and Hermione is no closer to getting the desired info, she finds that spending alone time with Draco isn't as bad as she once thought.

Pseudo Adoration- When Hermione is asked on a date by someone she never thought possible, Harry and the Ministry encourage the union as a way to get information. Hermione is extremely uncomfortable with the situation but agrees, because she knows how much of a help she can be.

She Remembered- Hermione takes a stroll through the graveyard and thinks about how she came to fall in love, and how that love was taken from her.

I'll Get Over You-A songfic set to the song "King of Wishful Thinking" by Go West. Draco is having a hard time getting over an ex-girlfriend. He's determined to forget her, but when their paths continue to cross and he's confronted with his feelings, can he simply let her go?

Numb- Hermione lost everything and everyone she ever cared about during the war. And though she still sees those who survived, she spends most of her time staring out her living room window and wasting her life away. Try as she might she cannot feel even the slightest emotion, until one day at work someone from her past shows up and changes everything.

Rumors- There is a nasty rumor being spread around Hogwarts that Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are secretly dating. Both parties deny it, and Hermione plans to prove everyone wrong. After all, how could Hermione and Draco ever be together?

Forgive and Forget- After the war, Hermione paints as a form of therapy. She paints everyday, for hours on end, sometimes forgetting to eat. Harry and her friends worry about her, but don't say much because the painting seems to be working. Then, one day, when she steps away from a recent painting to survey her work, she makes a startling discover. A discover she can't possibly ignore.

Anyone But You- A songfic set to the song “I Hate You Then I Love You” by Celine Dion & Luciano Pavarotti. Hermione both loves and hates her husband, Draco Malfoy. But is her love powerful enough to ultimately overcome the hate?

Rotten- It's the first Christmas Hermione and Draco are to spend together as husband and wife. It's supposed to be perfect, romantic, and full of holiday cheer. Only Hermione finds no happiness, because Harry and Ron have sworn to never speak to her again. Her crime: marrying Draco Malfoy.

Let Go- A songfic set to the song "True To Your Heart" by Stevie Wonder. Hermione has a major crush on Draco. She tells Ginny and Harry, but deliberately neglects to inform Ron. One day Hermione lets it slip to Draco that she fancies him and he is shocked, to say the least. Hermione has a plan to win him over, but will it work?

Better Late-A songfic to the song "Cry, Cry, Cry" by Johnny Cash. Hermione lives with her friends after the war, which includes: Ron Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Seamus Finnagin and, believe it or not, Draco Malfoy. Harry, along with many others, have died during the war. Hermione dates many men, but only muggles, and only for a few weeks at a time. Until she finds a wizard named David. She and Draco had been sleeping together, on and off, up until she meets David, who she becomes exclusive with very quickly. Draco realizes, after its kicked into his head, that he just might like Hermione as a bit more than a sleeping buddy, but is he too late?

My Only Regret-A story told in Hermione's point of view. It takes place during the war, though the beginning is set in the students' sixth year at Hogwarts. Hermione, though understanding and accepting, is reluctant to treat Draco as anything more than a teammate, if that. But when they get paired together for a mission, their lives could change forever.

Works In Progress:

Mission: Draco Malfoy- The story begins 1 year after the war is over, with the Light Side winning. Hermione and her friends work for the Ministry and are fairly content with their lives, dealing with their losses as best as they can. That is, until the Minister of Magic gives Hermione the worst possible assignment, an assignment that changes her life in more ways than she could have possibly imagined.

Voldemort's Revenge- The sequel to "Hermione's Baby". Draco and Hermione are married and live at Malfoy Manor with their son, Dante, and Draco's birth mother, Melantha. But life, predictably, isn't always smooth. They have only 6 months of peace before horrible news darkens their door.

Bloody Revenge- The story takes place long after the war is over, having been won by Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Harry Potter was killed by Voldemort at The Final Battle at the end of the war, along with so many others from the Light Side. Voldemort is in control of the Wizarding World and has plans to take over the Muggle World as soon as all rebellions are put down. Unbeknownst to him and the Death Eaters, however, some key fighters for the Light Side are still alive and want revenge.

I Will Find You- The sequel to I Am Your Enemy. I have maybe two or three more pages to write, and then it's finished.

Clean Up- The sequel to Infinite Mess. This story is only just started and coming along slowly. Hopefully I will finish it in a reasonable amount of time.

I also have a sequel to The Letter and Hope in the works, but I'm unsure of how to approach it yet. As always, I try my hardest to make updates and keep my readers happy, but unforeseen obstacles sometimes get in my way, namely college. But I have my own room now (no roommate,yes!) and therefore more time to myself. This, I hope, will cause me to write more and more frequently on this site. And, as I've said before, if you wish to see a story continued then TELL ME! There's nothing an author wants more than their stories to be read and liked. Also, if it's a story that I haven't updated in a very long time, then it should be assumed that I've run out of ideas and have writer's block. In that case, if you want me to finish the story, then send me a message with suggestions for the plot, twists, characters, etc. Any suggestions are always appreciated.

My Favorites:

As a writer, I am also a reader. I read constantly. On this website I have come across some other writers who I believe are ranked in the top ten of this site (if there was such a thing). Likewise, there are several stories that I simply couldn't live without. It takes a lot in a story for me to say, "Hey, that's a favorite", so if it's on my list and you trust my judgment, then take a look at my favorites. I'm willing to bet that you won't be disappointed.

My Name:

Lately I have been receiving messages asking me about my penname on this site. As many of you have guessed, it's from the Shakespeare play Hamlet. I don't know why (because, despite what some might think, I am not crazy) but I really identify with the character Ophelia. I have always loved her, and the play as well. I even have a tattoo of Yorick's famous skull with a Hamlet quote around it.

My Characters:

In many of my stories, there are characters that I made up, fitting them in where I please to suit my story's needs. All of them are my own creation, and almost every one of them is named with intention, meaning that I look up names with certain meanings. Sometimes I simple like a name and give it to a character, but usually the name has meaning, so, when you come across one of my characters, look up their name and see what it means.

The reason I add so many of my own characters into Harry Potter fanfiction is because I wish to one day become an author myself. I have many stories/novels in the works, but I find it much easier to practice on this site. And I need all the practice I can get. Someday one of my made-up characters from these stories may find their way into a book of my own. Hopefully that day is a lot sooner than I anticipate, i.e. never.

Voldemort's Revenge- A lot of my readers have messaged me, asking me when and if I plan on finishing this story. The answer is yes, I do plan on finishing it, I just don't know when. It started out really well, but then my ideas kind of petered out and I have yet to get back on track with it. I don't want to rush things, so, for now, this story is on hold. (Feb. 12, 2007--same)
