Author has written 2 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. This account is now dead. I just want everyone to know that I left this site for personal reasons and nothing traumatic has happened. I present my stories as a challenge now. If any writers feel they could do either better, wish to create spin-off stories, or complete my retired stories, then I challenge you to do so. I hate to see work be left like this. For those that find this hypocritical for me to leave a work uncompleted then I will say this much. I began writing fan fiction while suffering from a mild case of bipolarism. The work A Man Without A Hearth was written in the worst parts of this, using my depressed moments as inspiration while in my manic moments having inspirations to take a work that should have only lasted a few chapters and stretching it into something to large for me to handle. Two years ago I found writing this story to be unhealthy, as I was dwelling in my worst feelings and failing to get out. After leaving this site I have felt better, and I still read new authors and enjoy the community. However I feel that I am better suited away from stories like this. The Unknown is a rough unbetad work that was started in my freshman year of high school and A Man Without A Hearth was nearer my graduation, I am proud that these have been written but I am willing, as all authors should be, to see this works grow in my absence, to see what others can do with these. The Unknown is not canon compliant in many of the characters, and I would encourage someone to try and make it so, I did not read the series past Son of Neptune. If anyone cared to take the story I wish them luck. And it was a difficult decision to leave W/out a Hearth but I hope that someday, someone will want to take it for themselves. I say have fun, love everything you can, and remember everyone that is in your life. Good Bye. |
