Author has written 5 stories for Dragon Ball Z. Updated: 7/24/04This is my profile and below is just a little information on me. I'm pretty much a lazy fic writer and a bit on the slacker side. I don't really write, nowadays unless I'm motivated too or whenever inspiration strikes. Also, I'll be attending college in the Fall. I live in Louisiana, but I'm originally from Mississippi. That's all I'll say. I generally a sarcastic, cynical loner who's not very social, but has a few close friends. But nevertheless, I'm generally a very cool and open minded person. As for me being a writer, I mostly revolve my fics around the couples or characters that interest me, perspectives I think people should take notice of more often, or about past experiences. I don't consider myself a "great or extraordinary" writer, but I do like to write fanfics and I try to make them as well-written and in character as possible. Problem is that I don't have much time or energy to write them, as I would like. As for me being a reviewer, I don't consider myself a harsh reviewer. But I don't like to read a load of crap that look as if it was written by a amateur or juvenille author. I will openly state my opinions of the fic and tell what needs to be improved. I'm no flamer, nor have I ever considered myself as one, but if there's something that irks me about the story, I will state it. I don't expect top-notch when reading it, I don't consider myself a top-notch writer either, but I atleast expect a decent plot to the story. Try not to get pissed at me just because you wanted feedback, but obviously couldn't handle mine. As for the type of fanfics that I read, I must say that I'm not heavily into anymore. A lot of fics nowadays aren't well written and usually involve ridiculous or non-believable plots with poorly portrayed characters which are often OOC. Today, I generally read fics that are well-written and in character, with atleast a semi-original plot or a fic that a friend or somebody I know wrote. I have a low tolerance for poorly/badly written or cliched crap. I also love originality, something you don't see a lot of, nowadays, whether it be in music, people, or in fanfics. Besides originality, I like to read/see stuff that you don't see in fics too often. I admire people who chose not to follow the crowd, the trend, or what's popular now. But unfortunately there aren't many people like that. I also admire those who say what ever the hell they want and don't give a shit what people think of it. Now that's kick-ass. Personality: Moody, Bitchy (sometimes), Friendly, Cool-Minded, Intelligent, a bit Anti-Social (at school only), Sarcastic, Paranoid, Loyal, Unique, Ambitious, Realist, Individualist, Determined, Stubborn, Cynical, Misunderstood, Dark, Deep, Mysterious, Rebellious, Disturbed, Vengeful, Demented, Unusual Favorite Colors: usually Dark or Moody colors such as, black, dark/deep blue, bloody red, deep purple, grey Least Favorite Colors: pink, yellow, lime-green, orange, brown, usually bright colors Favorite Type of Anime: Action/Adventure, Drama, Angst, Humor, Maybe a little Romance Favorite Music Genre: Rock, Soft Rock, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, A lot of 80s/70s/60s music Least Favorite Music Genre: Most mainstream stuff, such as Pop, Country, Most Rap, Classical, Pop Punk Current Favorite Anime: Neon Genesis: Evangelion, Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, InuYasha, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, The Vision of Escaflowne, Trigun, Akira Other Anime That I watch or used to watch: Anime that I dislike: Favorite Movies: Favorite Shows: Shows that I dislike/hate: Quotes of the Moment: "You know, outside the circus, most people were actually afraid of me. But I didn't hate them. I pitied them. Do you know why? Because most people will never know anything beyond what they see with their own two eyes." -Nightcrawler (X-Men: United) "I can do honest. I look around. I describe what I see." -Daria (Daria) "I'm on my side-and that's enough." -Faith (Buffy the Vampire slayer) "Don't compromise yourself; You are all you got." -Janis Joplin "You don't have to be half-naked to be sucessful, just be talented." -Amy Lee (Evanescence) When it comes to pairings, I generally support or approve of most canon ones but, I must admit that I have a guilty pleasure for alternate pairings as well. A lot of times, the canon ones can get a little generic and cliched, so I turn to alternate pairings. As long as they're done right, they can be rather interesting to read. I'm not much of a yaoi/yuri fan, but I do accept it and I don't bash it. Love is Love and I say more power to them. I have nothing against gay/homosexual people, even though personally I don't float that way. Annoyances: I also generally don't like many stories where an original character is focused on. Yeah that's right, I don't care much for mary sues. The majority of the original/made up characters are mindblowingly "perfect", have little next to no flaws, and generally have more abilties or skills than the average character. And how I despise them, when their only purpose is to break up a couple. There have been a couple of mary sues that I've liked, but those were VERY few and far in between. Well that's pretty much it for my bio. More stuff is soon to come. Some of you may hate me after reading my profile, but I really don't care. If I did care, I wouldn't be sitting here writing it for you all to read, now would I? Oh and I'm not afraid to go off on some of these immature narrow minded flamers that we unfortunately have here on . But anyways, even though I'm more of a reviewer, I do like to write fanfics too. Writer's Block can be a real pain in the ass. Well gotta go. Expect more to come. ~Laters~ ^_^ |
