Author has written 8 stories for X-Men. I'm updating this slightly, but I'm still terrible at this sort of thing. I'm currently living in northern Germany, though I'm originally from the US. I just started writing in January of 2012. I've been a fan of Nightcrawler, as well as the X-Men in general, since 1981 -- yes, I know that seriously dates me. I'm an old comic geek and proud of it. :-) It keeps my inner-child alive and well, you know. I guess I've had story ideas floating around in my head awhile, I just never did anything about them before. The introduction of Kurt Darkholme prompted me to try my hand at writing, as I was trying to understand the differences -- more specifically the reasons for them -- in the original character, and his darker AoA counterpart. It really just went on from there. Several of the things I've written have been at someone else's suggestion -- an idea they wanted to see implemented (like Normal Happenstance was prompted by a discussion on the CBR forum's Nightcrawler appreciation thread), or something someone mentioned they'd like to see explored or expanded on. I write for the fun of it. I like being able to "visit" with characters in such a way. ;-) I haven't attempted to write with a strong focus on another character, as yet. I guess none have captured my imagination the way Nightcrawler has over the years, though I do include some others in the stories and find them enjoyable to write. The cover art for Normal Happenstance is a drawing done for me by the multi-talented and wonderfully sweet Marg Hammerman. |
