Hello all!

I'm a long-time Wheel of Time fan from Finland. I used to write fics under another name back in 2002-2004, but I finally found the password to my old account and managed to remove those. They weren't horrible considering they were written by a teenager whose first language isn't English, but still. I'm glad they're gone.

A few words about some of my fics:

To Walk in the Light - This one is something I'm proud of, but it could have been a lot better, and it's waiting for a rewrite but I can't say when I'm going to have the time and energy to commit to the project. Here's a drawing of Taim & Erin by Nanihoo on deviantArt.

Dance with the Devil - Work in progress. Slow progress, yes, but still. I haven't forgotten about it, I'm working on it, it's just... coming along... slowly. This was my attempt at writing a mostly-canon-compatible fic centering on the relationship of Taim and Logain; how well that worked out you can judge for yourselves. I still maintain it's perfectly plausible (with some slight artistic license on the timing of the appearance of a certain Forsaken).

The Age of Legends series; mainly a few notes on the timeline:

Clarity - Set far in Elan Morin & co's youth; I glossed over the exact age they are here because I'm still somewhat hazy on how I think education in the Age of Legends should work. (If anyone has any great ideas, feel free to shoot me a message!)

Of Masks and Murderers - This is set some years after the drilling of the Bore; the Dark One isn't wide-spread knowledge yet, and certainly not the fact that there are people who serve him.

The March of Death - An Asmodean-centric piece detailing some of the events around his joining the Shadow.

To Change the World - Set towards the end of the period known as the Collapse; it's not explicitly stated at which point Elan Morin Tedronai announced his allegiance to the Shadow in the Hall of Servants, but I think it's reasonable to assume that it would have been close to the outbreak of the War of Power, if only because the announcement is bound to have triggered a chain reaction and things would probably have escalated quickly from there.

Glass - Set some years into the War of Power. Not having precise timelines for that stuff is a bummer, but I'm making the assumption that Barid turned before Sammael's betrayal at the Gates of Hevan.

The "Asmodean Lives" verse;

Near Death Experience - As the name implies, an alternate take on a certain part of the ending of The Fires of Heaven. This fic, and those that will follow, are dedicated to pettymotives, who is a wonderful person and whose Asmodean art (there may be unrelated art in the tag but most of it is Asmodean/WoT-related and it's brilliant) inspired me to write this.

The Harp - Chronologically this belongs here, before Farm Life even though it was written after.

Farm Life - A short, uneventful piece whose main purpose was for me to practise writing Asmodean and establish the dynamics between Asmo, Rand and Taim.

Fire and Blood - Dumai's Wells, now with added Asmodean! And there's already an illustration for one of the scenes, based on an excerpt I posted on Tumblr -- clicky here! Note however that the illustration is a bit more humorous than the actual scene. Because why not. :D

Loyalty - A more Taim-centric piece, because I need to focus on his character some, too, in light of the changes from the canon.
