Hello everyone,

I am known here as Lady Wystaerya and like everyone else who make their yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, or minutely pilgrimage to this fantastic site to enjoy fanfictions written by others. I have decided that I shall join these group of fantastic authors and adding to more stories if and when I am able to.

A little bit about myself:

I am a college student majoring in the sciences and I'm fluent in Tamil, English, and Spanish. I understand Malay and am currently learning how to speak, read, and write in Japanese. I have a wonderful puppy who currently stays with my parents and three fish. I am a red-and-blue sour gummy worm addict (I am known to purposely pick those out of the candy jar), and I love tea.

I hope to write fan-fictions for many different categories and hopefully, many different genres though I will say right now that I am more inclined to write romance than anything else. I am, however, not adverse to writing about other genres.

I look forward to working with you all and perhaps, reading to some of your feedback. Like all authors, we can only improve ourselves if our readers tell us what they like and do not like and critique us on what we need to improve on.

Currently, I am more inclined to write one-shots rather than long stories. However, if there are people out there who make it known they like a particular story and choose to comment and leave reviews regarding said story, I am more inclined to turn a one-shot into an actual chapter-story.

UPDATES:

8/30/2015: I have started working on Chapter 7: Seven of Hearts. I'm so excited for the mischief I'm able to cause again. Hopefully, this chapter won't be disappointing and that the reprieve that came in Chapter 6 made some amends for my long "sabbatical." I'm hoping to have this chapter up by September 4th (September 5th at the latest). Happy reading!

8/26/2015: Hello, my wonderful readers! I am happy to announce that after those long hours of school and work, I've officially graduated and am a functioning adult! Which means that the spare time I have shall be appropriately divided. One portion of said time will be dedicated to writing and I'm trilled to add that I will be continuing Suite of Hearts! Stay tuned, my darlings and Happy Reading!

7/24/2013: I am even more happy to announce that Chapter 6 is currently in progress. I know it's a bit of a shock, considering my track record for keeping up my self-imposed deadlines, but, it seems that my muse has begrudgingly returned and he - of course it had to be a he, right? - has returned to work. I personally think he got lost on his vacation...probably got stuck up in some random tree...with dogs barking up at him...

7/21/2013: I am happy to announce that Chapter 5 will be out in the next couple of days, if not sooner. I've finally managed to find all my files and reorganize them properly, after three months, and, in the meanwhile, I've been also overseas visiting family. Yay vacation! Anyway, I appreciate all of my readers for their unending patience!

4/16/2013: Due to computer issues - I'm in the process of looking through and resorting files. I am hoping that I'll be able to post of and finish up Suit of Hearts soon - I sincerely apologize for taking this long to update. You guys deserve so much more than that. THank you so much for your endless support and understanding. (Let me put it this way - I went from a PC to a Mac...so..yeah..I'll leave the rest to your imaginations).

12/3/2012: Chapter 4 - Four of Hearts for Suite of hearts has been posted. Please, please leave reviews so I know how I can improve. I can only do so with your help after all! And on a side note...I won NaNoWriMo! Woot Woot! And now..my carpel tunnel (sp?) is just causing me hell..as..I've started finals...

11/12/2012 - I have started on chapter 4, but it is sort of on the back burner with finals rolling around the corner..and..with NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I am a masochist -.-;; Bright side - chapter 4, as I said, is very much in the works. Hopefully, I will have it up during or at the end of Thanksgiving. :)

10/29/2012 - I have finally put up Chapter 3 of Suit of Hearts. Things have been hectic, as I've said, with meetings with the sorority, my 21st birthday (parents wanted a big party..and..let me just say as fun as it was, I had no time the last two weekends because I was playing catch-up with everything else), and let's not forget, school again. Classes are going well, however, which is good. I've already planned out Chapter 4, so the chapter should be out sometime in November. In the mean time, enjoy your Halloween!

10/1/2012 - I apologize profusely for not updating in the past few weeks. It is midterm season, so my attention has been redirected to studying for exams. But do not fret! I am about a fourth of the way through with Chapter Three of Suit of Hearts! I am hoping that I will be able to get it done by the end of this week, before I leave for a retreat. Perhaps, if time allows, I'll be able to write during retreat as well, but I'm afraid that is the most I can do for now. My sincerest apologies!

9/11/2012 - I would like to let my readers know that, as promised, I've started a chapter story for the Rogue/Gambit pairing. It is called "The Suit of Hearts" and is a continuation of "The King of Hearts" and "The King and His Queen". I will be updating it weekly or bi-weekly. Worse comes to worse, it'll be updated once a month, but updating is based entirely on reviews and comments and my schedule. So, I do appreciate any comments and critiques you have to provide! That being said, I do not care for flamers. I honestly don't and I will delete those comments as soon as I see them. I hope you enjoy the story!
