Author has written 16 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Chronicles of Narnia, Misc. Cartoons, and Talented Mr Ripley.

Formerly known as "aurens."

Note: My usual fandom moniker is "my daroga," which is how you'll find me on LJ, other forums and The Fifth Cellar. However, that name is taken here. I've waffled about making the switch for some time, but at least "my daroga" and "the daroga" are pretty close. If you're looking for aurens, that's me.

A one-time phanbrat in the pre-www era, my daroga was radicalized once again by the publication of The Phantom of Manhattan. It is rumored that daroga has met the cast of The Phantom of the Paradise and that she actually likes the Argento version. I want to thank everyone who's read my stories and given me some really nice words. I love talking about Phantom, writing, movies, or anything else, so feel free to drop me a line.

A few of you may have noticed I disappeared for some time, leaving my story "Like Everybody Else" languishing. It's actually completely written. I meant, for many years, to edit it, and realized finally that I had grown too far from it to be able to recapture the mindset in which I wrote it. So I'm posting it as written, in the hopes that it will be of some interest. I am not, currently, writing anything else but you will be the first to know.

Phantom of the Opera writers: Please consider joining The Fifth Cellar and adding your fanfiction. We're a growing community of Phantom writers and readers with advanced searching capability (by canon, pairing, warning, etc) with a friendly admin (me!) who's always taking suggestions to improve things. It can only work with your help, so I hope you'll come check us out.
