Author has written 2 stories for Vampire Diaries, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. "I write only because there is a voice within me that will not be still" - Sylvia Plath Hello! My name is Ruby and I am a passionate writer. I hope you read and enjoy my stories as I consider myself to be a creative person so my imagination tends to run wild. All reviews and PM's are welcome whether they be praise or constructive criticism, however, I do not tolerate hate of any kind. Have a wonderful read xx Disclaimer - I only own my OC’s and original content, everything else belongs to the rightful owners. What caused you to start writing fanfiction? Honestly, my imagination is so extensive that one day I found myself living in my head and building a fictional character and how they would fit into my favourite television shows/films/novels/etc as well as how they would interact with other characters. I also just love writing and since I'm an English major, writing fanfiction has helped me learn how to develop my own original characters in world's which already exist. How long have you been writing fanfiction? I've actually been writing is since 2012, however, I have since deleted these stories. Which fandoms have you written for in the past 5 years? The Vampire Diaries, but watch out Teen Wolf, you're next! What are your favourite genres to write? Definitely fantasy, but I love the romantic genre. How much time do you spend writing fanfics? Approximately two to five hours per chapter. Do you prefer to write one-shots or chapter fics? Well, I love both. Chapter fics I love because you can truly develop your ideas, however, one-shots are my favourite for my more poetic writings. What story aspects do you find to be difficult to write? Probably having to make sure I'm staying true to canon characters, I don't want to take them out of their beloved personalities, but sometimes I'll find myself re-reading something I've written and thought, "This is definitely something they would not say". What is the easiest thing to write? I love character interactions, that's definitely the easiest part. I believe that the true development of a character comes from how you write them in social situations and how they encounter obstacles. What do you consider your greatest strength as a writer? My greatest strength truly is my imagination, it allows me to visualise and relate my character.
