I would think that nights on the meteor would cause sleeplessness for some trolls, especially Karkat, in which Gamzee would wake up with his moirail missing and head off to find him and try to help him catch some "wicked Z's." By the time they would both wake up karkat would have been face down on his keyboard with a row of jibberish in his chat log.
