AU: The estimated chance for a successful planet-to-planet beaming had been a mere 1.3 percent. Considering the success rate for his own conception had been just as low, if not lower, Spock concluded the universe sometimes ceased to operate on logic, and instead opted for a more whimsical approach. Hence the unconscious humanoid curled up on the transporter pad.

"If one were to ask Jim Kirk whether or not one Mr Spock was to be considered graceful, he would not hesitate to agree. After all, there were not many instances Jim could recall in which his First Officer had been anything other than the definition of utter composure. AU: The trunk was surrounded by an array of broad shrubs, coloured just as rusty red as the leaves of the tree they were gathered around. The sound that Jim had thought he had heard was louder here and he knelt down to spy through the twigs. Hidden within the thicket was a small child. AU: Finally, Jim's flashlight illuminated a tall Vulcan male, standing a few metres away. The Vulcan's hair was dishevelled and stuck to his forehead in some places, crusted with dried blood. His clothing was torn and he seemed unsteady as he crouched down in a defensive stance. "Uh…," Jim cleared his throat and tried again, "Hey, big guy. You alright there?"

AU: "Should we put up more decorations for tomorrow? Or do you think the scarecrow in the front yard is enough to freak people out?" "Do you want people to actually come to your house?" Scott asked. "Because when I first saw that thing, I thought about walking straight back home."

AU: Walking on, he was almost knocked onto his ass when he managed to overlook the brick wall of a man standing in front of the cereals in the next aisle. A broad hand wrapped around Stiles' forearm and Stiles yelped when he almost dropped his basket in surprise.

AU: "Do you know to whom you are speaking?" The blond smiled. It was an unpleasant, deprecating sneer. "Oh, I do, Your Highness. But you know what? I don't give a damn."
