Hello and welcome!

My name is Bee, I'm twenty years old, and I live in the UK.

I was a student, and hopefully I will be again soon, but I'm taking some time out right now.

I love love love writing, and have been writing fanfic since I was 11, and writing original stuff since I was about 6, probably. However in the last few years, for whatever reason, I've only really been able to write fanfiction. Luckily it's something I very much enjoy.

My first foray into fanfic writing was a Twilight fanfiction which can still be found somewhere on this website, though looking back it truly is terrible. Now I prefer writing a good bit of next gen Harry Potter fanfiction, with a massive emphasis on the relationship between Albus and Scorpius because I'm basically a massive trash lord. I used to ship Scorose and I still very much enjoy reading it but Scorbus is where my heart belongs now.

When I'm not writing (and actually while I'm writing as well) I really enjoy listening to music, I will listen to pretty much any genre, and my favourite artists include but are not limited to: Summer Camp, Grimes, Florence and the Machine, The Dø, Pvris, Blood Red Shoes, CHVRCHES, Laura Marling, Lorde, Paramore, Marina and the Diamonds, Birdy, Daughter, Arcade Fire, PMMP etc.

I am a voracious reader and a massive self-confessed fantasy nerd. Some of my favourite authors are Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, J.K Rowling, Trudi Canavan, Leigh Bardugo, Laini Taylor, Robin Hobb, Juliet Marillier, Sarah J. Maas, Philip Reeve, V. E Schwab, etc

My stories:

Out of the Woods: The fic that destroyed me and will probably destroy you too! As I explain in the author's notes, this story started out in the summer of 2014 as a series of one-shots. For NaNoWriMo 2015, I decided to try and turn it into a continuous, linear fic spanning all of Albus' years at Hogwarts. It's currently around 250,000 words which I still can't believe. If you like painfully slow-build romances then this is definitely the fic for you! I really do love this fic with my whole heart, and I have spent hours and hours writing it and planning it out meticulously. I'm hoping that 2018 is the year I FINALLY finish Out of the Woods - so watch this space. Not that I want it to end, but four years feels like long enough!

Against the Night: This fic is still very much a work in progress, but I have great plans and hopes for it. Albus and Scorpius are very different compared to Out of the Woods, and I'm excited to see the different direction their friendship and eventual romance will take. I'm also really excited about Scorpius' group of friends, they're a lovely diverse bunch of pals who love and support each other, and there's also a Prophecy (with a capital p), as well as rising tensions. If you like mean popular Slytherin Albus and awkward nerdy Ravenclaw Scorpius then you should totally check it out!

It's A War: This is a short fic with only four chapters, but I'm actually really proud of it. I planned it for a long time and I really think it's some of the best writing I've done. If you like horribly awkward Slytherin Albus paired with popular but secretive Slytherin Scorpius, then it might be the fic for you! In this story Scorpius is transgender, and I really enjoyed writing about the experience of coming out - being non-binary myself, I have a bit of experience with it. It's also about falling in love and growing up and realising that your parents might not be perfect. I'd love it if you checked it out!

When the Sun Shines Brightly: I wrote this Scorose one-shot back in 2012... I think? It was a long time ago! I wrote it as part of a longer work I was planning, which I had hoped would span all seven years, however I only got to about halfway through First Year? This takes place in Fifth Year, and it was kind of about where I was hoping the relationship between Scorpius and Rose would be at that point. It's also just a pretty cute snapshot into their life, with a picnic, a foray into the Forbidden Forest, and a first kiss. I don't ship Scorose anymore but I still love this fic.
