Author has written 21 stories for Detective Conan/Case Closed, and Family Guy. I am an aspiring writer, and I use the stories I publish here as stepping stones to writing non-fanfiction works. In other words, I try out plot ideas, concepts, and character development. Now, my favorite series is Detective Conan, known in my home country of America as Case Closed. Therefore, most stories I write will be from that universe. Crossovers are more difficult to write, so I won't be doing many of them, although I might do one occasionally. I might also write stories based on my personal life, just adapted for Conan. After all, they're more realistic that way, right? XD Within the Conan universe, I think it ought to be quite obvious that my favorite character is Ai Haibara (or Anita/Vi as some of you might know her). The reason is that I can relate to her more than any of the others; she's sort of like a misunderstood genius, like me. I can relate to her better than anyone else, so that's why most of my stories feature her in some way. The character of Masumi Sera is a close second. Also, my stories will not be limited to any one genre, like romance. I'll write mysteries, dramas, and tragedies. And with the romance, I won't stick to just one pairing either, so if you don't like a pairing in one of my stories, don't disregard all of my stories just because of that one. You might just miss out on one you like. For anyone visiting and taking time to read this, enjoy my stories, and please review! More reviews=more stories! Unlike many authors, I do take your comments, thoughts, and feelings into consideration. Note that I've been inactive for about two years, so I'm slowly getting used to the site again. Current Projects: Listed here are a few story ideas I'm currently considering, as well as those stories I'm publishing. If you're patient enough to read this and have an idea, a quick PM is all it takes to let me know. FYI these are not all my ideas. I'm not putting them all down because that increases the likelihood that someone will steal one. Fanfiction writing is really competitive, you know. :P The Adventures of Minami Edogawa. A fake antidote turns Conan into a little girl instead of Shinichi. Taking the alias Minami Edogawa, he/she continues fighting crime around Tokyo. The series focuses on the awkwardess Minami faces as she adjusts to her new life. Part 4, featuring Kaitou Kid, will be written in the future. Links below. Foreign Exchange - American exchange student comes and meets Conan! Yet another ConanXAi love story. Open to suggestions if you've got 'em. Crack pairings love story. Have a good idea for this one, but I won't say yet. Updating old stories. Some of my older stories are a bit embarrassing for me to look at, so I'm making tweaks for them or adding new content when I get the chance. You can use the poll on this page to pick one you think I need to work on more. Pet Peeves: 1. Reviewing completed stories that've been up for a while and saying random crap or asking for more. If it's done, it's DONE! Unless you're just saying you loved the story or are suggesting new ideas, which are both completely acceptable. 2. People that claim they are fans but don't know obvious stuff. Like Conan fans who don't know that the BO movies are 5 and 13 or that movie 11 sucks. Don't be idiotic. I can understand if you have bad English, but don't include false information. 3. Idiots who think they can put stupid comments in chapter two of a 15 chapter story after the story has been completed for 2 months. Complaining won't get you anywhere, so don't even bother! Don't troll or I WILL find you. 4. Idiots who start reading a story after it's been in the works for a while and then reviewing every single posted chapter separately. It's called go to the LAST posted chapter and give your thoughts THERE. (Morons...) *continues muttering about the number of idiots in the world* 5. Ridiculously long reviews that just waste my time. If your review is informative, critiques something, or is just you saying you're fine with the story, I could care less about the length. Just saying 'LUV IT LUV IT' over and over for fifty lines makes me mad. Don't make me have to delete a review just becasue you want to troll. 6. People who SUCK at writing and make no attempt to hide it. ALWAYS use spell-check and/or a beta-reader before even CONSIDERING posting a story if you know you're terrible. You'll get more positive reviews that way because people won't be suffering through your work. You'll even get tips on how to be a better writer that way! You want free tips, right? ;) -All I've got right now. Anyone reading this should take my advice to heart, and advise others of how to do better. I'm not forcing you to do anything; I'm just giving tips. Take it or leave it. Other Items of Interest: There are some names I use in my stories that repeat throughout many of them. There are also some elements that remain the same, and are easily recognizable to those who read more than one. Here's a list: 1. If any of my stories feature Ran shrunken, or under another alias, her alias is Rin Mauri. That won't change, unless the focus of the story revolves around Ran. If that's the case, then she might have a new name. 2. Some of my characters that I make up only show up in one story. So their names won't ever be seen again. Examples include: Adult Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta: they only grow up sooner than normal in one story. So one story only characters don't make repeats, and I don't use the same names to avoid confusion. Minor characters remain unnamed because I'm too lazy to make up names for everyone, although I do use online name generators sometimes. 3. Some of my concepts for stories are borrowed from other fanfics or published series. For those from , I generally only use concepts from those that were never finished, or haven't been updated in forever out of courtesy to the writers that completed their stories. I simply take a concept I like, refine it, and write the story. I also take ideas from readers, so feel free to suggest something! 4. As for reviews and PMs, I will always answer PMs as long as they aren't stupid, and I'll respond to signed reviews for up to a month after the conclusion of a story. After that I probably won't respond anymore, but you may get lucky! Unsigned reviews I'll respond to in the story, but if the story is an update or already completed, you're out of luck. 5. Just as an FYI, sometimes I'll make a reference to something in my own original work, such as the magic system in A Kid's Evil. This can range from minor references to cameos. These will be rare and I'll usually point it out because otherwise you won't know what it is. 6. Speaking of my original non-fanfiction work, I'm currently working on two projects right now. The first is Trapped in Marisia, a high fantasy/urban fantasy hybrid. In it, a kid from 2030s Earth gets taken to another world where it's still medieval times and magic is everywhere. By all looks it seems to be a stereotypical fantasy world. The person who brought him there, the evil Emperor, must be defeated so he can go home. Sounds simple enough and a bit cliched, but it's a lot more complicated than that. The Emperor has his own agenda unrelated to being evil, and the princess he has to ally with hates all technology and people from Earth, and makes no attempt to hide it. Note that this novel is now on Amazon kindle, so look it up if you have the chance! 7. The second project is called The Traveller's Journey, which I have barely started working on right now. My idea is that an old man that works as a physicist in an Orwellian dystopia encounters a special group of evil people completed unrelated to his government and seemingly more powerful that it, and has to try to survive their constant attempts to kill him while also not infuriating his own government. Oh, and the evil force deages him back to a 30 year old as an act of spite to damage his ego. Again, simple concept, but it's going to get a lot more complicated. And believe it or not, it's actually sci-fi. If I come up with others, I'll share! |
