I am Fir, Otter, Pine, Byakushin and a bunch of other people on an online game called Ancient Anguish. I run a blog-style AA newspaper called the Gemynd Post as well as in-game newspapers. Since FFnet has a category for AA fanfiction, I thought I'd post the few stories that have accumulated on me over time in here. :)

We also have incredible player- and wizard-written stories inside the game, in the many libraries of Ancient Anguish. There's even a book that's (remotely) about me that I found again a while ago...

I got permission from Bleys to post his Duel in the Desert here after I failed to talk him into setting up an account of his own - the story won the Ancient Anguish anniversary story contest, and reads very nicely as general Dungeons-and-Dragons genre fantasy even if you are not familiar with the world of Ancient Anguish. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
