Here you will find a collection of my thoughts, and hopefully witness an increased standard of writing as my own literary tastes evolve and advance.

A couple of quick facts about myself in regards to reading and writing:

I love to read old books, and I mean quite old. Everything from the anglo-saxon era to about the Edwardian era are my favorites. While there are some contemporary books I am fond of, and I have a guilty pleasure for romantic/supernatural teen fiction (a secret shame), what you will mostly find on my bookshelves are the likes of Milton, Kipling, Dickins, Bronte, Austen, Shakespeare, Chaucer, Doyle, Wilde, etc.

Whenever I write fanfiction I tend to try and stick to canon, or at least believable in regards to canon. I will not write AU fics. Sometimes my fics can stray from canon in regards to the introduction of new material, but I try to keep my pieces as companion pieces to the original works. It takes a great level of admiration from me of the original work to warrant the writing of a fanfiction, so everything I write will stand as a direct homage to the original work, and try to uphold the standard it has set in terms of character and exposition.

Reviews make the birds sing in the trees, the sun shine a little brighter and the day feel a little better. Every review on any of my story is treasured, and I know other writers feel this way too. I vow to always leave a review on every piece I read on this website from this day on (10-01-2014)- regardless of how many reviews it already has, or how long the piece has been dormant or finished for. If you want me to check out any of our works, I will more than happily do so.

Fanfiction.net is a place where all of us fans can come and share our ideas and hopes and opinions, and I think that that is an incredibly wonderful thing for us to have.
