![]() Author has written 7 stories for Cats. I am a human male from the planet Earth, more specifically Toronto, Canada. I am years older now, and am no longer updating this account or any stories on it. i'm leaving it up for nostalgia's sake. I am obsessed with Cats the Musical. I never suppress the urge to yell "MACAVITY!", I just shout it :) IF I MAKE A SPELLING OR GRAMMAR MISTAKE, OR LEAVE THE TITLE ON ONE OF MY STORIES, TELL ME! Shoutdowns and Callouts: I'd like to give a callout to R. E. Nightt, rawrrkitty, and Ginakabina for being awesome and friendly, to Kristin-Kai-Lundy, Loveydovey14, Cettie the Mary-Sue Slayer, BroadwayKhaos, Mungo'sLittleTeazer, Raptoregg64, hans-the-hero, RumTumTuggress, Blazenaire Alda, and Felixfeles for taking the time to review, to Lady Jemima for favouriting, to Nekosoda for being awesome, to my family, because even though you don't always support my choices, I know you have my best interest in mind, and to my friends on Fictionpress, you're awesome too! I'd like to give shoutdowns to nobody in particular. I have better things to do. Some interesting stuff about my school's version of Cats: The choreographer also played Munkustrap. Our production's Bombalurina is also on , and has been for much longer than me, as Alexex. During the overture, various cast members were mixed in with the audience, sitting on the walls and floor in "cat-poses", staring at them. In The Rum Tum Tugger, there was indeed one male cat who tried to dance with Tugger, and it was, in fact, Mr. Mistoffelees. He started dancing towards Tugger, and then Munkustrap cuffed him upside the head. Our Rum Tum Tugger had difficulties getting into character, as he's actually a nice, quiet guy. Quaxo and Mistoffelees were treated as 2 different characters. Due to time restrictions, Bustopher Jones and Growltiger's Last Stand were cut, and Skimbleshanks was abbreviated. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer totally did the 2-person cartwheel thing, though they weren't going to originally. The Great Rumpus Cat and Macavity were played by the same actor. Also, he made his own Rumpus Cat costume. I still prefer our Grizabella to Elaine Paige (if I can get a recording of her singing without sounding like a creepr, I'll post it on youtube for you guys. I can't get the DVD, because APPARENTLY we didn't get the rights to make one. Sad faic). Though you could say I'm prejudiced, I think our Macavity fight was both more aesthetically pleasing than the RUG DVD version, and looked more like an actual fight. During rehearsal, when Macavity threw Munkustrap, various cast members actually thought he was hurt, because he was such a great actor. In the final dress rehearsal for Mr. Mistoffelees, during a part where four other cast members carried him, I tripped over Jenny's tail and dropped him. In Mr. Mistoffelees, there was one part where he pulled a bouquet of (plastic) flowers out of a hat, and gave them to Jemima. On the final night, he pulled out a rubber chicken first. Our Old Deuteronomy was once quoted as saying that he thought he grew the most out of the cast members, both in singing and dancing. He didn't dance, and sang very rarely (though he is quite a good singer). He also regularly made remarks about his costume resembling a bear more than a cat. I can't seem to stick to one unstarted story, so I'm just gonna talk about the ones I've started. Finished: Under the Jellicle Moon : Tradgedy about Old Gus' life. 3 chapters. I wouldn't recommend it, to be honest. Finding you: Romance/Drama about Admetus. One shot. Inspired by my own sucky romantic life. Coincidentally, it's a pretty lame story. Diary of the Hidden Paw: Drama about Macavity's backstory. 6 chapters. Inspired by a conversation between me, Quaxo, and Skimbleshanks (yeah, long story, I'll tell you later). Jellicle Week March 2011 : FIRST CHAPTER - Comedy about Rumpleteazer. SECOND AND THIRD - Alternate viewpoint preview to Beacon. In Progress: It's a Journal, TYVM : Another diary-styled fic, but without a concrete plot, basically following Nekosoda, rawrrkitty, Mirany Stone, Ginkabina, and whoever else joins the project. ON HIATUS BECAUSE NOBODY'S UPDATING AND I'M OUT OF IDEAS FOR NOW. :( Dr. Quaxo : Comedy about the Magical Mister Mistoffelees' mild-mannered alter-ego, Quaxo. No estimated length at present, because each chapter has a stand-alone plot. It'll just go on until I run out of ideas. Inspired by Doc Martin and House. ON HIATUS DUE TO LACK OF IDEAS |
