About Me

I really am a writer, you know. I write my own original work most of the time, but on the off times when I want to write but am sick of the characters I've been writing about and/or want to write a little ditty about a character from an established series, I'll write some fan fiction.

You can gather a little bit from above that I have really eclectic tastes. Obscure things that most people wouldn't like interest me. I really do have a ton of interests in loads of different areas and places. The above lists don't even begin to scratch the surface. In my writing I like to make some references to said eclectic and obscure stuff. I like borrowing from a ton of different sources to add flavour to my work and make something rather unique.

I really am a hopeless Fire Emblem nut. I've only played the handheld games aside from 12, which in some circles makes me a wannabe, seeing as FE4 is supposed to be the fodder of true FE fans... I'm not sure if I've the courage to shovel through it all the way... In any case, though, I love the diverse sprawl of characters in FE and also the fact that it's still fairly obscure (though Awakening has Awoken the series onto new Awakey-wakey levels). Some of those characters I've really taken a shine to over the centuries years and I really enjoy writing for some of these characters. Fire Emblem got me into Strategy games, RPG's, and JRPG's and also got me to write fan fiction. So I really do owe a lot to that obscure game series that was half-released exclusively in Japan. XD

FAQ: Questions you're dying to see answered, I'm sure

Q: Will you write any Fanfics about something other than Fire Emblem?

A: I have now *points at Bleached Bone Isle*. I have a few little chunks here and there written from other copywritten universes. I really want to write a FreeSpace fanfic, but it's not as easy to write as something about Fire Emblem, I confess. Who knows? Maybe I can get over the hump of "it's going to be long and hard to finish" enough to start! _

Q: Will you continue [Insert Fanfic here] any time soon?

A: Newfound Past is DONE! As in done. Quite an achievement, I assure you. As for Resurrection, I think it's dead *pokes it* ...yeah, it's dead. I simply ran out of ideas and nowadays most people think of Awakening when they think of Fire Emblem so... the crowd's changed, as it were.

Q: What do you have in your secret vault that you ain't sharin' with us?

A: Nothing! Nothing I say!! ... *sigh, I suppose I should tell you about the Multi-Game-Encompassing FE Space Opera that's been kicking around my hard drive, huh?

Q: Ohohohoh!!! *raises hand*raises hand*

A: What?

Q: Will you make me/us/them/they/me a fanfic about [insert demand here]?

A: Well, it's a possibility. Anything's possible, you know... like Aliens gifting us 3000 year's worth of technology because they feel like it or a talking hamster named Hamtaro... The point is I'm not a full-time fanfic writer and I only write this stuff when I have absolutely nothing else I want/need/have to do. Crazy ironic, because this is the only stuff currently that I have wholly published.
