Hello,

I have thought long and hard about how to begin this message, but nothing ever seemed to be quite sufficient enough. So instead, I want to begin with a thank you. Thank you to every single person who has ever read a chapter, a story or multiple stories that I have written and posted on here over the last 10 or so years. Thank you to everyone who has left a review, followed and favourited either my stories or my profile or sent me a PM. Thank you to every person who has offered advice and feedback on my writing, both positive and critical.

I began writing Fanfics as a child, living out scenarios I had created in my head and using my limited (and at times lets be honest awful) vocabulary and grammar. It was a medium to express myself away from my studies and free from judgement. As I grew, so did my writing. I was able to try out new styles, structures and plots. It allowed me to become more creative, think outside the box and ultimately became a hobby.

However, as cliche as it is, life has a way of moving on when you're not looking. I became an adult, went to University, got a degree and then a job. My little hobby became more of a thing of the past and I am finding that I can dedicate less and less time to it. This has resulted in me producing lower quality writing, simply to be able to satisfy my dedicated reviewers. That isn't fair to me and my writing, nor is it fair to you as the reader.

It is for that reason that I have come to the difficult decision to take down my stories. This may seem like an extreme decision, but it has come from multiple factors. First and foremost, I hope to one day be able to get back to writing and potentially re-upload them with improvements that reflect the quality of my writing today. In some cases this may mean a complete re-write, but I have yet to decide that. Secondly, as many of you are aware, many sites seem to be able to copy stories that are posted here and re-upload them onto other sites. As much as possible, I want to avoid that so that people know any new chapters are genuinely written by me. Lastly, I want to reduce as much as possible the number of people leaving messages asking why stories haven't been updated. To me, this seemed like the most efficient way of doing so.

I know there are bound to be many of you who are disappointed by this decision and to you I am incredibly sorry. I know that you were looking forward to reading new chapters and were invested in my stories, but I hope you can respect the decisions I have made. I will leave my account open, and am more than happy to discuss my stories, their plot and what was written for future chapters with those of you who are interested.

Once again, thank you to every single one of you. You are all amazing people.
