![]() Author has written 7 stories for House, M.D., and Megamind. Hi, fandoms! After changing careers from a full-time public school music teacher to a part-time stay-at-home mom and part-time private music instructor (voice, violin, and piano), I'm FINALLY back to writing! I'm currently taking a break from my "Megamind" stuff and back to working pretty full-throttle on "House" again. (Don't worry, fellow MegaRox's... I'll get back to the "Revahnge" universe eventually!) To those of you that read "Baby Daddy" back in the day, I'm hoping to continue it eventually. I tried recently, but it's hard to pick up in the middle of a very important flashback chapter that you started writing nearly 4 years ago! So "Battle of the Band-AIDS" is my new story, and I'm so excited to be working on it. I wanted to do a "fun" Huddy story... because let's face it, Huddies. They kind of shattered all of our wonderful hopes and dreams with the second half of 7 and all of 8, as far as I'm concerned. So "Band-AIDS" will take us back to a simpler Huddy time, in season 4, before all of the crap, that in my opinion, made it very difficult for House and Cuddy to have a decent chance at a functional relationship in season 7. Rewind back before Amber's death, before Rachel, before House's breakdown, before Lucas-gate, and all of the other insurmountable obstacles they faced as a couple. I think that had things gone differently, the tension was at just the right temperature for them in late season 4, and their complications significantly fewer. I'm not saying it will be any kind of walk in the park... but let's give them a bit more history, and a slightly less bumpy playing field and see what happens, shall we? (And just for the record, I'm not knocking Rachel at all. I think she was a great thing for Cuddy and also helped us to see a side of House that we may not have otherwise. But just solely for their relationship, her having a child when they eventually got together probably did make it more difficult for them to have enough focus on finding their footing at being "together" with all of their other emotionally-stunted crap :-P) About me: I'm an 30-something music teacher who LOVES to write living in the midwest with my husband, daughter, and 3 cats.
