Jacklyn Serenity Blackwell

Jacklyn is an African-American woman, who was raised in a strict Christian household, so she was well aware of the supernatural. However, she does study legends and myths only for the sake of her work, so she can know what she is fighting and how to kill it. She was born to two hunters, Evelyn Rose Blackwell and Demetrius Louis Blackwell.

As a young child, Jacklyn’s first supernatural experience was a spirit of a young boy her age at the time he died, who passed away many years on the land, before the house was built. His remains had been buried deep within their backyard. At first, the young boy was a passive spirit, who just wanted to be noticed, but then the spirit became more aggressive. He would harm young Jacklyn by scratching and cutting her. Her body would often be found with bruises and bloody scratches. The spirit even possessed Jacklyn to attack her parents. However, her parents did an exorcism and exorcised the spirit. They dug up his remains and did a proper burial in the woods, threw salt and holy water on it and burned it.

Jacklyn is a very extroverted and outgoing woman. She enjoys the company of other, but not to a point, where she needs the presence of others. She enjoys being alone from time to time when she is free. Jacklyn can be charming in her own way, unique way. She knows how to get what she wants. She is witty and sarcastic. She often makes witty remarks with whoever wants to play that /game/ with her. She’s extremely sly, perceptive and intelligent. She could also be a bit devious, though harmless when the time comes for it. Jacklyn is never afraid to speak her mind, so she’s brutally honest and blunt with her words. She has a tendency to be a bit sneaky. With jobs that she does, you have to be and it kind of became a habit. When she was still in school, high school to be exact, she was often called ‘Klepto” because she had a knack for stealing whatever fancies her and skillfully also. They wouldn’t have known if she didn’t feel guilty and rat herself out. Jacklyn can be sort competitive at times. It’s her nature. She does think highly of herself, but not to a point where it would be arrogance. She just has high standards. Jacklyn can actually be a fun person, once you get to know her completely. She isn’t snobby, superficial or self-centered, so she can be real friendly to basically anyone, though not too much. Jacklyn is a very strong willed woman. It's not easy to get inside her head and control her. She's kind of a playful flirt. It's just part of her mischivous nature.

Likes: Jacklyn likes to read and write. She is often seen with some type of book or writing poetry or something. She enjoys being outside and relaxing in the sun. Jacklyn has sort of a sporty side, so she enjoys playing street ball and also likes to rollerblade. She enjoys music, whether it’s listening, playing or singing it. Jacklyn likes guys who have lots of confidence and can be cocky. She likes guys who can be charming in their own way. Jacklyn absolutely loves eating junk food and sweets. She gets a lot of exercise in, so she is able to and keep up figure.

Dislikes: Jacklyn absolutely does not like extreme weather and bugs, especially spiders. For a person, who fights and kills demons, you don’t expect her to have a slight bug phobia. Jacklyn hates people who are manipulative and controlling and arrogant. She dislikes being looked down upon and looked at as helpless and fragile.

Jacklyn has lost too many people in her life due to her life as a hunter. That’s why it’s hard for her to be in a relationship. She’s afraid she will just endanger their life or worse, kill them.

Other than stated before, she does spend lots of her time training and spicing up her fighting skills. Jacklyn works on her gun aim and her martial arts.

Jacklyn has a tendency to touch people even subconsciously with her knowing.

She is allergic to fur, feathers and sulfur, which makes it hard for Jacklyn sometimes to deal with demons. She does take medication for, Allegra.

Appearance Information

Jacklyn has mid length, dark brown hair. It’s thick and kinky, but you can’t tell, unless you touch it. She doesn’t like people touching her hair, so you won’t tell. Her hair is naturally curly, since she has never straightened her hair. It’s always wavy-like. Jacklyn usually keeps her hair combed down with a part of on the left. It’s a simple hairstyle that is easy to keep up with. Jacklyn has an oval shaped face with high cheekbones. Her eyes are big, round and dark brown. Her eyebrows are thin arched. Her nose is semi-wide and she has full, plumped lips.

Jacklyn’s body us very shapely. Her chest is slightly above average, her stomach is flat and she has wide hips with a full, round posterior. Her legs are long and smooth, though she is only of average height. She wears heels to make herself look taller. She feels like she is too short. Jacklyn has a chestnut brown complexion. It’s like a light brown sort of color.

Jacklyn has many scars all over her body. Some of those scars are noticeable and some are not. It all depends on where you look. She has a distinctive scar on her left shoulder, though. It’s three gashes that came from her a demon she was force to deal with as a kid. Jacklyn has one tattoo and that is on her right ankle. It’s of a Chinese dragon and it wraps around her whole ankle. Jacklyn does have piercings and those are three on each ear and one on her navel. She has a star-like shaped birthmark on her left forearm. She thought it was weird how it formed that way.

Jacklyn likes to wear jeans and shorts when she is out hunting the supernatural. It’s comfortable to her and she feels it won’t hinder her fighting. She wears all kinds of shirt and blouses, along with hoodies and jackets. She only ears dresses when she is attending a formal event.

Jacklyn carries two pistols when she is hunting. Both are in its’ own pouch on her hip. They have custom made bullets that can kill demons. Her parents had shown her how to make them when she was younger. She only carries one ordinary gun when she is out around human, though she hides it. She uses it as protection only and to scare away dangerous people. Around her neck is a locket her mother gave to her as a child. It has a picture of her their family in it, her, her parents and her younger siblings all together. She always carries around her cellphone, which she keeps clipped inside her bra. No one never bothers to look there, so she figures it's safe if she ever finds herself in a predicament. Strapped to her left ankle inside her pants is a knife her father gave her as a child to keep her safe.
