My pen-name was stolen from the scene in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (that's the movie, not the book) where Ron sacrifices himself to the White Queen so that Harry and Hermione can continue on. It was, to me, Ron's moment of transcendental heroism in that movie, and worthy of celebrating. Besides, Ron's character was butchered so badly in the films (he was turned into little more than idiotic comedy relief) that any scene in which he doesn't appear to be a cowering moron is a great scene.

Anyway...

I've been suffering from a pretty serious case of writer's block lately, so I may be a while before I post another update to 7th Year Itch or Taken to Task. Sorry for any inconvenience.
