![]() Author has written 11 stories for Twilight, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. "You can take a picture of something you see, In the future where would I be? You could climb a ladder up the sun, Or write a song nobody has sung, Or do something that's never been done." Personal Moolah: I was formerly under the name "Aish7.loves.Twilight". I'm Ash :) The song you just read above is "Talk" by Coldplay, one of my most favourite bands in the world. It's a good introduction to my profile page because I love to do new things. I embrace impossibility and weirdness and turn it into a creative outlet for myself, which is why I'm really really hyper and really really spontaneous. You can't predict the words that'll come out of my mouth. I'm super-observant when it comes to understanding people but soper-not-observant when it comes to simple logic! It's the irony of nature :) I sound much older than I am; I'm 15 as of May 7, 2010, and I'm an Indian (who spent 4 years in Australia). I'm vague about my paths but I definitely want to do something in medicine. My back-up occupation is a novelist or songwriter. I'm multi-talented; I sing, dance, write, perform, draw (my painting skills got eroded over time) and fashion design. I love to read books (like, seriously), blog and lots of other stuff. I'm uper-short for my age (I'm called a munchkin at school) but really friendly and cool to get along with because I like making friends. I write poems, stories, fanfictions, even scripts sometimes. I have a poetry blog, titled The Soul Sanctuary Writing is my utmost passion! Fanfiction only helped nurture that but I'm afraid that I got this account some three years ago, back when I was wickedly active... I check my stuff out sometimes and hate it to the core. Can't be bothered deleting it, so I'll probably finish of Fairytale Twilight and then start writing some REAL fanfictions - you know, the type that make your knees weak. I'm going to stop writing Twilight and start writing more Vampire Academy, Georgina Kincaid series, Hunger Games, Blood & Chocolate, Shiver, Nightshade and even The Other Boleyn Girl fanfictions. I'm funny and sarcastic and love to make fun of people and things. Best friends aren't best friends if I don't make them something hugely emotional and personalized on their birthday :P You can find me on , a book discussion site, here: http:///aishwaryaswancullen I'm on Facebook, but I'll add you only if I know you. Fanfiction-Related Moolah: 1. For the dance scene in Fairytale Twilight: Cinderella, my fanfic, the link to the "Another Cinderella Story" dance video, the base of my dance steps I have mentioned in the chapter, has a link I'm putting below. Its for people who want to see the whole "symmetry" things and the love blossoming. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yHk64cMjs8 2. I'm in the process of writing Truth or Dare 2, so I apologize for telling those of you who reviewed to ToD1 to favourite my story and never posted it; my exams were on, you see. 3. (M2011 UPDATE) sorry that everything has been on hiatus... 11th grade has been epicly dominating and busy-making, so I haven't had much time! Give me til June and you'll have your dose of fanfictions :P My Interests and Gibberish Moolah: TV SHOWS - I like watching anything on TV that makes sense and isn't too much of gossip. I watch a lot of movies on TV and lots of music channels. For sitcoms, I still watch Friends. Other than that, I like to watch House MD, Glee, Numb3rs, The Simpsons and So You Think You Can Dance regularly. I see an odd few episodes of this and that everyday, stuff like Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, America's Next Top Model, America's Got Talent, VIP, Bones, Castle etc etc. My favourite TV shows are House MD and Glee, which I'm obsessed with. Movies - I like any movie that is romantic, funny and depressive. Sad movies are brilliant; I'm not goth, emo or psychotic, but I love sad stuff because it makes me feel intense in my heart and he pain of it feels real. Romantic comedies, sad romance, comedy movies, drama and action movies appeal to me. To give a few examples: The Notebook, Underworld series, The Last Airbender, Yes Man, heck, even hindi moves :) Books - Do you want to know? No you don't. I'm a book crazy idiot. I don't stop reading. I have no favourites, though I do dislike lots of books. I think Twilight is far too hyped. There's so many books better than it; it's unfortunate it hogged up all the attention. I used to be crazy about the series, but it kinda washed away after a while. Harry Potter is ultra-phenomenal and it deserves far more credit than it already has gotten! Sure, as you get older, it starts getting weirder, but the HP series absolutely phenomenal in every way. The characters are deep and the plot is amazingly set up. Similar case with Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead and Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. In adult books, I absolutely love the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead - about a succubus. My list of books is never ending...here are a few of my favourite characters: Harry Potter series: Albus Dumbledore (really deep), Harry Potter (amazingly controversial) and Luna Lovegood (inspirationally weird) Vampire Academy series: Dimitri Belikov (really 3D), Rosemarie Hathaway (the most amazing female character), Christian Ozera (survivor!) Wolves of Mercy Falls/ Shiver: Sam (dedicated and loving), Isabel (perseverent), Grace (out-of-the-box) Georgina Kincaid series: Georgina Kincaid (duh), Roman (misunderstood), Seth Mortensen (brilliant character depth) Percy Jackson: It's a little kiddish for me now, but my fave characters used to be Thalia, Annabeth and Percy. Hunger Games: Peeta Mellark (hard worker), Cinna (most creative) and KATNISSSSSSSSS + sister Prim! Hush Hush: PATCH CIPRIANO, Nora Grey!! Twilight: Jacob Black (he's got a little bit of depth), Emmett Cullen (he's the only non-wuss), Leah Clearwater 13 Reasons Why: Clay Jensen (he's good) Inkheart series: Mortimer & Meggie Folchart. AND DUSTFINGER :) Mediator series: Sussanah Simon, Jesse de Silva and Paul Slater all because they kick ass really well. Nightshade: Meh I didn't even like this book all that much... entire The Other Boleyn Girl series: (Book 1 TCP) Q. Catalinaaa! And Arthur, bless his soul (Book 2 TOBG) Mary Boleyn and Catherine C. fo shizz, and a bit of Anne (Book 3 TBI) Anne of Cleves and Catherine C (Book 4 TQF) Hannah! Princess Mary in the first half, and then Elizabeth in the second (Book 5 TVL) ELIZABETH! Catherine Carey/Knollys! The Fountainhed (Ayn Rand): Howard Roark, Dominique Francon, Gail to an extent Uglies series: Tally Youngblood, Damien and definitely Andrew =) ...and I absolutely despise PC Cast and her work on House of Night. The language is terribly oxymoronic and everything happening is Out of Character. Don't bring it up in front of me! Music - I like all types of music, but less of Metal, Screamo, Gothic and Reggae and Classical than of the rest. I like RnB and Pop a lot. Hindi music's cool too. My range is: Evanescence, Drake, Amy Lee, Finley Quaye, Howie Day, Seether, Kaiser Chiefs, Lily Allen, Hinder, Nelly, Alexandra Burke, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Pussycat Dolls, Santana, Soulja Boy Tell Em, Daniel Powter, Pete Murray, Selena Gomez & the Scene, Amanda Seyfried, T-Pain, Flo Rida, Cobra Starship, Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, Train, Wale, Kristinia DeBarge, Kris Allen, David Archuleta, Outlandish, Creed, Keri Hilson, Jet, Hoobastank, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Used, Usher, U2, The Veronicas, SoShy, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Poets of the Fall, Queen, Paramore, OneRepublic, No Doubt, Norah Jones, Nickelback, P!nk, Ne-Yo, Gnarls Barkley, Muse, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez, Linkin Park, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Kesha, Kings Of Leon, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Incubus, Hilary Duff, George Michael, Gorillaz, Gwen Stefani, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Fergie, Enrique Iglesias, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, David Guetta, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Britney Spears, Michael Bublé, Amy Winehouse, Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, AKON, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, The Killers, T.I., La Roux, Yves Larock, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Pink Floyd, Fall Out Boy, Ashley Simpson, Jessica Mauboy, Shakira, Jay Sean, Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, Iyaz, Oasis , Destiny's Child, Beyoncé, Breaking Benjamin, Owl City, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, Cheryl Cole, Coldplay, Rihanna, My Chemical Romance. However, Evanescence and Coldplay hold the most special places in my heart :) 2011 Update: Man, times move so fast. I have an odd 100 or more names to add to that music list :P I LOVE TO WRITE 2011 Update: Sparknotes has begun some rivalry on fanfictions.. and th truth is that if fanfictions are a way for us to live the lives of the characters we wish we could be, so be it. If we're achieving our own catharsis, so be it. Fanfictions dont ruin stories, they take it further. Or well, the good ones do anyway. There are so many shitty fanfictions on this site written by a bunch of teenagers with overactive imaginations (and yes I used to be one of them) but when you find the good stuff, the stuff that this entire passion for fanfiction ORIGINATED from, then mydearies, you have officially seen the real deal. Which I vertainly hope to offer y'all as sooooon as I'm free! ASH xx |
