Author has written 2 stories for Chrono Trigger, and Misc. Games.

In a sea of people living out lives that are difficult to comprehend, even by themselves, you should take as a comfort one key fact:

Zipp cares.

Okay, I've talked about it, built it up, now...

... here it is.

Purgatory: February 2013

In January of 2010, me and three friends got together online to try out John Harper’s free RPG, Ghost.Echoe. Out of that experience, meant to be a quick one chapter try-out, emerged an entire world and plotline which took us on a journey into the unknown. On a whim, I saved the game files after we ended, and promptly forgot about it. Three years later, I found the files and was amazed to find myself sucked into the character and the story. A chill ran over me to realize how close I'd come to not saving the files and thus losing this story forever. I realized I had to revisit it. This is the result, retelling of the events of the city of Midnight and the coven which may cause its destruction or be its salvation.

Chrono Break: October 2008 - July 5th 2011

Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of fan-fiction. They often rely heavily on cheap thrills and laughs based off specific scenarios in the game. In some ways, Chrono Break is my raging against that form of writing. The characters aren't unrecognizable, but they aren't giddy cosplayers in skins made for them by the game and by fan's longings. These are the characters as they would be in reality. This is the story not of their happy ever-after, but of their downfall.

One of the overall themes of this story is to show what happens when heroes have nothing heroic to do. I mean, how would you get back to normal life after having saved the world? What would there be left to do? How would you keep your everyday existence meaningful? Against all this is another pointed question: do warriors make good peacetime rulers? How does a kingdom die?

This is Chrono Break, that period between games that fans have long wished to uncover. Be careful what you wish for, it doesn't always come in the guise of a savior.

A serious treatment of Chrono Trigger. This is the story of what happened in between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. These are the characters as they would be in reality; it is the story not of their happy ever-after, but of their downfall.
