Hmm. What to say?

I've been actively writing since elementary school, and since I just finished a degree, I'd say I have quite the obsession. :-) My younger sister is the only beta reader I've ever had, and I've been using her for so long I think she's starting to read my mind... So yeah. One reason I'm posting here is to get some fresh feedback.

I try to do all the research behind my stories, a side effect of working in libraries since seventh grade. But after a while the need to just sit and start spewing out pages becomes too much, so feel free to fact check me if I goof something important! For anything pivotal to the story though, sorry. I probably won't change it.

On the other hand, if you really love my writing, send dark-chocolate covered espresso beans.

I'm serious.

If you don't have espresso beans and you show up at my door, you'd better be a five foot talking turtle. Or a rat. That's good too.

For the moment, TMNT will probably be my major focus. I've never actually read more than a few of the comics and I don't have as much time to watch the new series as I would like, so a lot of the details will probably hearken back to the movies or the old series, all of which I love. I've loved them since the first episode of the old series, and until my first boyfriend (human, unfortunately) my family was convinced that I would be giving them green grandchildren.
