I'm Minty, and I write fics of questionable levels of okay and called for, largely about a very specific Pokémon researcher because I'm not obsessed shut up I can quit whenever I want. Other fics I write tend to be at least 75% mindscrew. When I'm not writing about shenanigans in the Pokémon world, my other fandoms include Steven Universe, Miraculous Ladybug, TAZ, and practically anything with a magical girl in it. Idk, ask, and there's a likelihood I'm into it. ;D

When it comes to pairings, my OTP is hands down Bill/Lanette, but I'll ship pretty much anything that doesn't involve incest, pedo moments, and non-con undertones by default. I'm the kind of person who would ship Brock with a hat rack. ... I'm the kind of person who currently ships Brock with that hat rack. You go, hat rack. You get a piece of that hot Pokémon doctor.

My my, it's been a while, hasn't it? So as you can tell from the story updates below, I haven't disappeared, I swear. Electric Sheep is currently on my front burner, and in fact, I'm hoping to finish up book 1 of 2 later on this year. Or to put it in clearer words, as of this writing, I've written up to the Icirrus Gym battle, which means we've got two arcs and a half to go, which in turn means it'll probably take me the rest of Camp NaNo April, all of Camp NaNo July, and NaNo proper to finish. Tl;dr, book 1 should be at least written by December of this year. However, I'm admittedly holding off on updating until book 1 is complete, although the longer I'm going on this hiatus, the more I'm tempted to at least post the rest of the Mistralton arc. (It's a little mean that I've left y'all off with questions about whether or not Geist is okay, isn't it? Haha, sorry!)

AEM, meanwhile ... is complicated. Where we left it a couple years ago, a lot of people weren't satisfied with the ten chapters written from mid-2014 to mid-2015. Those, unfortunately, have been deleted, and since then, I've gotten a lot of feedback on AO3 and right here on FFN asking when it'll be finished ... and which version. So first off, it's not being abandoned. It's just that the outline is being reworked so that it makes sense and doesn't, well, drag on. I'll keep you updated on what's what as I go, but a lot of stuff is up in the air at the moment.

Anima Ex Machina
After a meteorite brings a hostile new Pokémon to Earth, a young scientist is forced to become the host of one of the mysterious alien beings. Now equipped with a new body he has to share with the strange alien Pokémon, he sets off on a journey across a quarantined Hoenn to stop an invasion and protect his uninfected sister.

Electric Sheep
In the future, trainers in Unova travel along Disneyfied safe routes accompanied by android companions and automaton Pokémon. Door Hornbeam is too disgusted with the fakeness of a journey to set out on her own, but when she saves the amnesiac Geist from a mugging-in-progress, she's thrust into an adventure filled with secrets involving her family and the androids she despises.
