Author has written 2 stories for JAG. I am an avid reader of almost anything. Most of my favorites tend toward older fiction and classics, but I do like a few newer things as well. I have loved to write since junior high when an English teacher told me I had a talent for it. English was my favorite subject in school for the most part. I loved to excel in writing assignments. Most of my writings are private pieces that I rarely share with outsiders. This site, though, allows me to change that a little. I like to write fluff with a bit of angst here and there. It makes for a more interesting story. My current favorites are quite eclectic, but most recently I've been drawn to When Calls the Heart. I also enjoy some JAG, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, and a few others. Those are the main ones I'm reading right now. My writing right now has pretty much been WCTH related. I am always working on something whether I publish it or not. I don't like to read stuff that's not been proofread or checked over before being published. To me that's a sign of a writer who doesn't care about what they've written. No writer is completely perfect or writes without errors. That is the reason there are editors or beta readers or even friends to proofread your work. I try not to criticize others' work, but I also don't write fluffy reviews. I try to be encouraging and honest at the same time. I like to tell someone that they've done a good job only when it truly looks like it. If I read something and like it, I will continue to read it whether I comment on it or not. At times, I will PM a good writer and let them know my thoughts and try to encourage them, but I will never belittle or criticize them in public or private. I don't believe that it is helpful to break someone down to make them better. Encouragement and maybe even constructive ideas are more helpful."
