 Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Christine. The Penname: I began my fanfic life after DH by reading a story called 'The Hogshead' on SIYE and fell in love with that version of Ginny (over the canon questionable!ginny) and when I went to review I chose this penname somewhat based on the authors name MyGinevra. The penname followed me to (which is stupid being a H/Hr site) where I suddenly found myself in love with H/Hr and realizing that even according to canon those two were the true soul mates. I found myself on ficwad with the same penname and quickly became a beta for a time for 'Love Has No Age' where you might recognize my lemons. That spurred me onto writing and suddenly I found that GASP I couldn't change my penname to JustRuss the way I wanted because ficwad sucks. At that point I was only interested in posting on that one site and began writing furiously, so now you know that even though I love a well done Ginny (like mine) my true love is Hermione. Not that I hate other ships. Current Status: I've been away from writing for entirely too long (as of today 9/25/2014) and I know I need to finish Hogwarts Shuffle! I just... have not been motivated for one reason or another, even though I know where the story is heading. I DO have most of the next chapter written but got stuck about halfway through and never picked it back up. Update 3/17/2019: I have 3 or 4 chapters of 'Hogwarts Shuffle!' written and ready for beta'ing...but I'm considering finishing the story before releasing it. I've been working my real job, and working on original fic on the side...part of me refused to write anything for fanfiction while I was trying to write something original; but I've decided I will not make any headway on that until I finish what I started here. It is not on haitus, I am not gone, I have not retired... I'm just On a side note, I love anime and my newest love (shuffle was when I began writing HS) is 'High School DxD'. I feel that DxD might just be the perfect anime. A great balance between plot, PLOT, action, romance, slice of life, and boobs; lots of boobs. |
