![]() Author has written 7 stories for Twilight, and Pride and Prejudice. Hey there, I'm a teacher/wanna-be author. I live in rural Australia with my hubby and two cats. I love to read, and write, and dream impossible dreams. I live for fantasy stories- Harry Potter, Black Jewels and Star Wars. I also love Anita Blake books. I love more traditional novels, especially anything by Jane Austen. I have many stories running in my head at any one time, so I get easily distracted from a story that I might be reading or writing. Unless I become obsessed with that story, in which case don't expect to hear from or see me, until I finish reading or writing that particular obsession. I hope to one day be a published author but I have a life outside of the world of fantasy. When I'm not reading or writing or staring at this or other fan-fiction websites, I love to cook, dance and Pinterest In my early 20s I three published fan fictions (all Twilight because Forks is such a fun place to play in): Halloween Costumes was a very random fluff piece about Bella and the Cullens getting ready for a Halloween costume party. I love odd holidays like Halloween (even though it's not really recognized in Australia) and costume parties. And I love random Culleness moments. What I Wanted has been written as a one shot, but is the start of what I imagine will happen in Breaking Dawn. Maybe one day I will expand on it.All the Phases of the Moon is an exploration of the Cullens returning to Forks earlier in New Moon. It would actually cut into the book halfway through chapter 15.and now I'm back with ideas about Pride and Prejudice. I've completed two fan fictions attempting to explore Jane Austen's amazing work. Mr Darcy's Plan which is a longer than planned retelling of the end of the book, attempting to tie up some loose ends I feel were neglected in the original. Loved Him First is just a one short that I wrote as an exploration of one antagonist in the original - Caroline Bingley, to see if she had a relate-able side. and I'm currently working on a third - Altering Perceptions AND a fourth - In The Middle Before Beginning Both stories are starting in very similar places in the book (while both Lizzy and Darcy are in Kent) but will have different paths from there. Altering Perceptions is also my effort to keep as much as possible of the language style and conventions from regency era writing, while In the Middle Before Beginning is a lot more relaxed - but both are a lot of fun to work on. |
