Author has written 11 stories for Star Wars, Hunger Games, and Stargate: Atlantis. About me: I am Canadian. I know the difference between a meter and a metre, I pronounce the last letter of the alphabet "Zed", not "Zee", and I have driven in weather conditions that would send entire countries quivering in fear without a second thought. I don't believe in fluffy stories. I want action and adventure and if there are tears, they'd better be from real hardship that grabs the characters by the horns, throws them into a meat grinder, and spits them out as a different person. Characters should be developed like people through their experiences, not created with defining words. That said...I hope you enjoy my work :) The Carpet Timeline - Unhappy with the Star Wars EU time line, I decided to make my own that would be loved and admired by...well...me. Some other people enjoy it, too, so that's always a plus :) I’ve listed them below chronologically. The marks below indicate actual stories. The Lost Files - 29-?? ABY - These are stories I wrote in preparation of the From the Ashes Trilogy...which I never really planned to release. Based on popular demand, I've released one, and others *MAY* follow: The Jensaraai Encounter - The origin story on how Jacen met Eriana Fostenon, one of my more favourite OCs, at the start of his journey to learn the ways of the Force. From the Ashes Trilogy - 35 ABY - This picks up five years after The Unifying Force, ignoring all the buggy and discontinuous crap in the "real" time line. Three parts, Détente's End, Face of the Enemy, and Dawn of Chaos. Détente's End - The Jedi are losing their way and Jacen returns to warn the Council that a war is brewing. A bit slow paced at the start, but remember, it is building up to the rest of the series and if we put down every slow starting book we ever picked up, we’d never have finished a single Harry Potter novel ;) Face of the Enemy - After the apparent deaths of Luke and Mara, Jacen infiltrates the enemy on the belief they are still alive. Enemy POV. Dawn of Chaos - The conclusion of the trilogy, picking up immediately after Face of the Enemy. Encompassing at least 18 different character plot lines, this thing was a pain in the butt to write. It covers the politics and battles that cause the galaxy to fracture once again...and leave the galaxy as it was not before it started. Which is kinda impossible to not do when you consider everything is always evolving... The “Make Jacen’s Life Hell After Dawn Of Chaos was over” Trilogy – I never intended these to be a trilogy, but I thought I’d group them together for the heck of it, and I can’t think of any names that work well, so...yeah, this works well enough. This is the continuation of my timeline after FTA above. Destiny's Call - 38 ABY / 141 ABY - Some time after Dawn of Chaos, Jacen is left stranded in the future without friends or family. Or any clue on how to get home. Something I cooked up in about two weeks which was a lot of fun to write. One cut deeper... - 39 ABY - A continuation in the timeline after the events in Destiny's Call. Jaina is dispatched by the Jedi Council to The Greater Sin - 40 ABY - Jacen returns home to find a conspiracy against the Hapan throne...and Tenel Ka is at the heart of it. The Bogan Invasion - 40.5-41 ABY - With every galactic government on its knees, the last Lord of the Sith finally emerges and unleashes its quest for galactic domination. The Invisible Hand - 40.5 ABY (2-4 months post TGS) – Darth Krayt launches a devastating assault on the galaxy to cleanse it of any power that defies his vision. True Power - 41 ABY – The Bogans and Jedi finally come to terms with who wields True Power. This will be the end of my timeline. The other extraordinary (or "odd"; you pick) works of Jedi Carpet Hunger Wars - Completely separate from the rest of the stuff (though left with some level of questionable inference to tie it into Détente's End more to establish characterization than anything) this bizarre take on the Hunger Games draws together the collective universes of The Hunger Games, Star Wars, Star Trek, The Legend of Zelda, Stargate SG-1, and Harry Potter. From the views of Katniss Everdeen (1st person) and Jacen Solo (3rd person.) Centrepoint’s Destiny - A crossover between Stargate (SG1, Atlantis, and Universe) and the Solo twins. I’m just running with it as I feel like it, so I’ll update when I update...don’t expect to see much posted regularly, but I do plan on finishing it. Eventually. Feb 24th update: After a huge case of writer's block, I finally decided where I'm going with this story and how to end it. Sorry about the long wait. And for Canada taking gold in Hockey and Curling :) |
