Hey everyone.

What can I say about me? Well, I love life, I love writing and I (especially) love Elvis. That enough?

Ten reasons to love life:

Likelihood is you're only getting one shot at it.

Even if you do get another shot, the fact that you currently have Internet access means life will probably be worse second time around.

Things often go wrong, but for us priveliged people, most of the time things are- let's be honest- all happy and great.

Millions of species in the world and you're part of the only one not constantly looking for food and sex.

The above statement may be totally false, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

We are the only species known to physically enjoy the sex act.

We have endless opportunities to be funny, witty or charming, sometimes even on purpose.

We owe it to people we know, who both expect it of us and hope it for us.

If you screw up and look like a total prat, there are millions of other human beings in the world you can talk to who have no knowledge of aforementioned incident.

Your only other choice is to hate life; and that's totally ineffective.

Ten reasons to love Elvis:

Was a black-belt in Karate.

The only performer ever to make jet black sideburns look amazing.

In his first ever booking to a state-wide show, the Louisiana Hayride, he was booked as "that black boy with the funny name."

Was definitely not a racist.

Has 400,000 impersonators worldwide, which is more than most performers have fans.

A major role model to Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, John Lennon and (reputedly) Eminem.

Died reading a book entitled "Scientific Search for the Face of Jesus."

Was MJ's father-in-law.

Once called Roy Orbison "the greatest singer in the world."

Best of all, he was the birth of modern music, of modern views, of modern culture. That's the long and short of it. "Before anyone did anything, Elvis did everything."
