Kyle Crane is back but not entirely the same 'man'. The Hero of Harran has found himself as a sentient infected in the city of Scanderoon. He shouldn't be back. But having met Jack Brecken and learning that the virus has changed over the past week has made him decide to take up the mantle again but from the shadows. Regrettably but this time, not alone. Kyle Crane, once the amazing hero of Harran and best runner of the Tower, has now turned into a sentient Volatile, much like The Mother. Crane now has to deal with, not only the infection and its symptoms, but with newfound enemies willing to take him and kill his friends.

The fall of Harran robbed man of its humanity, and Zofia Sirota of her innocence. Finding redemption, with the city rotting away around her, seems to be a pipe dream at best, until a man falls from the skies and turns futility to hope. Either that, or he's about to make things a whole lot worse. [Dying Light 2 compliant]

Being stuck in a zombie apocalypse, semi-private or not, sucks. So what kind of idiot would go trekking through one to find the absolute perfect ring for popping the Q? Kyle Crane, of course.

An alternate end and continuation to the game. With Rais out of the way, Crane and Brecken face off against new threats as they continue to scavenge for supplies and wait for a cure. They won't go through this alone. As the survivors of the Harran Quarantine start to lose hope of ever being free from the infected, the world waits to make its move.
